Flickr made an announcement yesterday regarding some change to their Terms of Service. The changes mainly affect free users of the Flickr service.
Flickr has always had rules about the safety levels of photos on it’s platform, regardless of whether you are a free user or a Pro user of their service. They describe the levels as such:
Safe – Acceptable to a global, public audience
Moderate – Partial nudity, like bare breasts and bottoms
Restricted – full-frontal nudity and sexual acts; photos only–videos cannot contain restricted content and are deleted if reported.
The main issue many Second Life bloggers and photographers have is that that the rules have not been specific enough....

Those of you that still follow me, know i have been absent from flickr for a long while unfortunately but i heard of the terrible changes flickr is making so i made a point to come in because i do have real life photos that i had chosen to keep private here on my feed along with my sl work.
What i had found was all my photos, private and public, had been changed to moderate and i am unable to change them back to safe because clearly by looking at them, you can see they are indeed safe. i'm not sure if any have been deleted but some are showing as blank, why? i do not know. i have never had many moderate or restricted photos posted anyways and this definitely shows flickr is trying to force me to pay because they and they alone changed the safety settings on my photos. i believe all were left private that i had marked as private but can't say for certain.
I suggest if you value your work, privacy and rights, which flickr is clearly taking away, please save your work and go through your streams to double check. how is this fair or right, let alone any type of improvement as flickr is claiming it to be?
please share this for i don't know how many groups i may be able to put this in because it doesn't fit the norm but this info is very valueable to all.

so now some of the most populated groups which are set to only safe will not see this (this includes second life official group which i definitely wanted to post this in)
Below is an email i got from flickr stating my account was FLAGGED and REPORTED by 'another member' (who will remain nameless because god forbid we abuse their rights) and flickr has determined there are items in my photostream in the WRONG CATEGORIES. The items in question , they do not show or list. Like i said before, i have been away from flickr for a long time... the last time i posted before this today was around August 2019 for goodness sakes. Now if they have done this to me, how many of you are going to get the same email?
I have requested a review, not because i care anymore but because i am curious as to what flickr does. I've already made the decision NOT to upload anything more to flickr and have saved my work. Thank god they are not getting any of my money either.
