Pune airport offers a meet-and-greet service
In Pune, an airport has rolled out a meet-and-greet service from Wednesday for visitors who require luggage assistance.
Airport Assistance services Flyers who avail of the service will be charged Rs200. A team of 15 has been deployed at the airport for the service. Our team supports many flyers who need assistance with their luggage by transporting their bags in trolleys until they check in, said Rajesh Damoradan, general manager (operations) of Global Flight Handling Services Private Limited in Chennai.
Airport Service Swapna Srivastava, the company's business development manager, promised flyers may pre-book the service soon through its online portal beginning next week.
Upon booking the service, we will stand at the departure or arrival gate holding a placard bearing the name of the flyer to identify ourselves. Currently, we can be contacted via phone at 709-444-3333. As a frequent flyer, Jamshed Kaizan believes the service will be helpful for those traveling alone.
