Pump-bot algorithm

Pump-bot algorithm

Apitrade

The function (algorithm) "Pump-bot" in the futures bot "Hurricane" allows you to automatically open a short position and launch a high-frequency short bot at the time of a very sharp pump (price rise) of the coin.

Many users asked us to make a high-risk algorithm, opposite to the squeeze bot, which would go short at the time of a very sharp coin pump (manually catching such a pump is quite difficult). For example, such pumps often occur due to listing of a coin on a large third-party exchange. Usually, immediately after such pumps, sharp dumps occur). To launch a pump bot, it is enough to select the necessary pairs (better, those that have grown a lot lately and have already begun to fall), specify the bot settings and click "Start on pumps (short)".

An easier option without the need to manually specify each bot parameter is to use the pump bot system template: select the necessary pairs, click "System Templates", select the pump bot and click "Copy".

After that, when you click on the status of the bot, you will see on the sensitivity slider at what price the bot will open a short trade if the pump happens right now (when the price rises, this price will also gradually increase every minute). To reduce risks and open shorts with a very sharp pump, you need to move the slider all the way to the left. To open trades often, you need to move the slider to the right, increasing the risk to 100% or slightly less. It is recommended to use lower and upper stop losses (possible as a percentage of the opening price and / or stop losses at the latest minimum and maximum), as well as stop loss at breakeven (such trades should be very short) and stop loss at maximum loss.

Also, for short bots, you can use averaging in case of a new pump. For this algorithm, it is logical to select coins in the table of USD bots that have grown very strongly over the past week and day, the trading volumes for which have been falling recently. To run this algorithm, it is recommended to use a separate sub-account of the exchange (or a separate broker account which can be created with one click in the section "Add exchange").
