A student has been arrested for having sex in public amid claims he was caught on camera romping with a young woman after a boozy session to mark his birthday.
Ning Dang, 19, from Mongolia, had reportedly been celebrating his birthday at a bar close to university dorms in Hong Kong when he met the unnamed girl.
After downing shots into the early hours of the morning, the pair began walking home but only got halfway before they were filmed allegedly having sex.
Captured on a mobile phone and uploaded anonymously online, the video shows the pair apparently at it for 45 minutes before they are stopped by police.
A police spokesman said: "They were both very drunk and when officers arrived they were both fully dressed, although when the woman stood up, her trousers, which had not been put on properly, fell down."
He added:"They were both giggling but as the officers hadn’t caught them doing anything wrong they were let off with a caution."
But the video showing the girl seemingly performing a sex act on Ning and him then on top of her was later put onto social media where it went viral .
Police identified and have now arrested Ning for having sex in a public place. They are still trying to identify the young woman.
The police spokesman said: "The man says he doesn’t know the girl’s name as he only met her that night.
"We are told that she is a mainland university student aged about 20.
"It is alleged that she has returned to the capital Beijing."

Australian teenagers are running riot across the Gold Coast , in Balinese resorts and in Europe to celebrate finishing their high school years.
But the Aussie 'Schoolies' have nothing on their Norwegian counterparts.
In Norway, teenagers celebrate the end of their high school careers with 'Russefeiring' or Russ, a three-week party of drinking and shameless challenges in April before their final exams.
Challenges have included having sex in public, skinny dipping in freezing water and kissing police officers. Students on a dare once broke into a teacher's home and slept the night without the teacher noticing.

One woman who completed her study in 2016 referred to the three-week party stint as a 'crazy graduation tradition' while explaining the reason for the challenges.
'What we do is basically to get dressed in red overalls, buy busses (or vans or cars), pimp them up and party in them for about three weeks,' she said.
'We also do lots of stupid things in public, to earn something called 'russeknuter'. There are more than 100 different 'russeknuter' and they can be anything from kissing a police officer to drink 24 beers in 24 hours to stay awake for 72 hours to eat a cheeseburger in 1 bite. In other words, a fair bit of stupid stuff.'
'The fancy thing about our graduation tradition is that it takes place BEFORE we are actually done with school, so about a week after the celebrations are over, we have all our exams coming up.'

Six young men – some of them just teenagers – have been arrested by police after a girl was filmed being sexually assaulted in a shocking daylight attack.
A witness filmed the horrendous attack that saw a gang of men laughing and jeering as the ripped off the girl’s clothes.
Video of the assault, filmed in Jehanabad in Bihar state, India, was widely shared online, where police picked it up and began investigation.
Two of the attackers in the clip are still missing and being tracked down by police, senior officers said.
Nayyar Hasnain Khan has formed a special team of police to investigate the video, which has outraged thousands since it surfaced online.
In it, the girl is passed between the young men as she kicks and screams to try to get away.
One of the men lifts her feet off the ground as she tries to free herself.
No witnesses, including the person holding the filming the attack on a mobile phone, is seen doing anything to intervene.
Most of the attackers are teenagers, the police say.
A motorcycle belonging to one of them, which was also seen in the video, was a vital clue for the police.
The mobile phone with which the video was filmed has also been recovered by the police, they said.
According to the NDTV news channel, based in New Delhi, police are now carrying out door to door searches in the neighbourhood and talking to villagers to identify the rest of the attackers.
The girl and her family have also been offered counselling, officers said.
A First Investigation Report has been registered against the accused under the stringent Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
The incident comes in the middle of outrage and disgust across India over a series of child rapes.
The death penalty was recently brought in for child rape cases in Kathua, in the state of Jammu and Kashmir, after nationwide anger over the gang-rape and murder of an eight-year-old girl.
While a six-year-old girl in Odisha died in hospital this weekend after being raped, strangled and left to die by a neighbour.
