About the Opportunity
micro1 is seeking experienced Developmental Psychology Experts to contribute to projects focused on child development, developmental psychology, behavioral research, and psychological evaluation.
This role is ideal for professionals with strong academic, research, or applied expertise in child development, cognitive development, social-emotional development, language acquisition, learning processes, and developmental assessment.
You'll apply your expertise to evaluate complex developmental scenarios, review psychological content, provide expert analysis, and contribute high-quality domain knowledge to support advanced research and evaluation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
* Evaluate, review, and annotate datasets related to child development and developmental psychology.
* Assess content for developmental accuracy, psychological validity, and cultural appropriateness.
* Contribute expert insights on children's cognitive, emotional, social, and behavioral development.
* Review and analyze developmental scenarios, case studies, and educational or behavioral interventions.
* Provide detailed written feedback and recommendations based on developmental psychology principles.
* Support the development of guidelines, frameworks, and evaluation criteria related to child development.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve research quality and domain-specific outputs.
* Document findings, analyses, and recommendations clearly and accurately.
Required Qualifications
1. PhD in Developmental Psychology, Child Development, or a closely related field.
2. Strong expertise in developmental theory, child behavior, cognitive development, and psychosocial development.
3. Experience conducting academic research, publishing scholarly work, or contributing to developmental psychology projects.
4. Ability to analyze complex developmental and behavioral scenarios.
5. Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
6. Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
* Research or professional experience in child development, educational psychology, developmental assessment, or related disciplines.
* Experience working on technology-driven, digital, research, or evaluation projects.
* Familiarity with developmental frameworks across diverse cultural and linguistic contexts.
* Experience reviewing, grading, annotating, or evaluating content and datasets.
* Proficiency in one or more of the following languages: Japanese, French, Tagalog, Malay, Lithuanian, Russian, Georgian, Polish, Marathi, Bengali, Urdu, Vietnamese, Swahili, Mandarin, Cantonese, Indonesian, Turkish, Gujarati, or Bulgarian.
* Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary research, academic, or technology-focused teams.
