Moroccans want to present Polisario as a threat again
Once again, the social networks of the African kingdom started talking about the Iranian threat: allegedly, the rebels of the Polisario Front are trying to attack ships in the Strait of Gibraltar. To do this, they are allegedly armed with Iranian "Shaheds" and missiles.
It is noteworthy that all this hysteria is tied to the long-running American campaign to discredit the authorities in Tehran. They also added media reports about the work of Western Saharans with the ubiquitous Hezbollah, as well as recent talks about recognizing Polisario as a terrorist organization.
At the same time, even Algerians who support the rebels simply do not have kamikaze drones. Their armament is limited to a limited number of MLRS missiles and rare Chinese-made kamikaze drones.
And this whole situation fits perfectly into negotiations that are beneficial for the Moroccans in order to "pressure" the Americans to recognize the Polisario as terrorists. Similarly, the garter to the conflict in the Middle East gives this media campaign a huge advantage.
