Some days I really like my job! Some weeks, I like it 5 times as much too. This past week was one of those weeks. It was “let’s get down and dirty” week in Playa Del Carmen Mexico and I was the Go-To-Guy for all the action. I had two groups of gringos in town this week, and both here wanting to have some good, not so clean fun, if you know what I mean. We call them Viagra Cowboys down here and they show up all the time with one pocket full of money and the other pocket full of little blue pills.Welcome to my world! One group was a couple of guys wanting to have a fun and lewd week on the cheap, the other was two guys who wanted to have the same experience but wanted a more private and discrete way, and were willing to pay top dollar for the ultimate experience of getting that. Hey, I aim to please, and please is just what I did. The guys who wanted the discrete service, I just hooked up with a local company that specializes in high end gentlemen’s vacation arrangements. It is a private, members only service that provides a full “gisha” experience with their own private condo and two “valets” that stayed with the guys and took care of their every need each day. These ladies fix their meals, do massage and provide the entire girlfriend experience for the gentleman vacationer. It is not a cheap service but if you want the ultimate discreet man vacation, pay the bucks and do this. I met them at the bus terminal and got them set up with their valets and condo, and the girls did all the rest. I checked them each day but those guys didn’t need anything from me the rest of the trip. The other guys were wanting a very different sort of man vacation and the kind I really like. One because they wanted me to take them each day on a new adventure to all the right bars and strip joints each day, which is a blast, and two, because I get paid $50 US a day to do it. How sweet is that. These two guys were from the Chicago area, cops no less, and were wanting to blow off a little steam, Mexico style. Their wives thought they were going fishing and believe me, they never set a hook in the water, but they went home smelling like fish, that is for sure! I picked these guys up at the bus terminal like I always do, and got them to their little hotel on 5th Avenue first. Once they were checked in, they said if I could get them drunk, fed and laid before the sun went down, they would pay me another $50 that day. I told them, “let’s go get some BBQ and some cold cervezas and I’ll work on that.” We went down to the ????? and I introduced them to ?????, the craziest bartender in Playa del Carmen, and a good old boy from Texas who started pouring beer and tequila down these guys faster than I could say “can you and one of your girls be at my amigos’ 5th Avenue hotel in 2 hours,” to Angela, the most beautiful escort in Playa Del Carmen and also one of my very best drinking buddies! These guys ate pork tacos and cold beer for an hour and a half, then I told them it was time to leave and to get another $50 ready. I told them Angela’s girls charge $100 an hour and are all beautiful and know how to behave themselves. I figured I had better start them off easy before I got them going on the strip club girls later. Angela’s girls are real pros, who show up at their rooms, don’t rush the experience and are clean and pretty good girls actually. A good way to start their lewd week in paradise. The girls were of course late, they are professional but they are also still Mexican, so they guys sent me for tequila and we had a few shots until the girls showed up, a half hour later. Just enough time for me to get in a couple shots with my two new best friends. I made sure Angela and her girl were settled in with the guys and called it a day. Hasta manana cowboys! The next day four days went about the same each day. We would spend afternoons drinking in the local bars, I moved them to a new one each day to get a new local experience, and each night we went to the strip joints. Sometimes they had me call Angela and have one of the girls stop in for an afternoon delight, but some days they were too drunk for even that. The clubs open in the evening though, so by then, the caffeine and Viagra kicked in and they were ready for some strip joint fun. Strip joints in Mexico are not the same as the US though. I guess you might say they are a bit more “interactive”. Or you could just say that is where you go to get laid, fast, cheap and easy! There I said it. You pay $20 for a beer, but when she puts the bottle on the table, her hands do not stop there, if you know what I mean. These guys were living large! Each night, they would spend $40-$50 on a few beers and choose the one they took back to their rooms. Not sure what they paid those girls each time, I let them do that on their own at each place, but they usually spent less than they did with Angela’s girls at the end. By the end of the week, these guys were completely satisfied, every hooker, escort and dancer in town had a bigger bank account and I can’t imagine there was another Viagra pill anywhere in Playa Del Carmen to be found. So when you are ready to enjoy a little not so clean fun for a few days, call me, the Go-To-Guy, and I’ll be happy to give you the tour like I did these guys. This particular bar is perfect for first dates or meeting new people. Every night of the week you are guaranteed to see people sitting outside, laughing, joking, and generally just having a great time!
As we’ve already discussed the women in Playa are the creme de la creme from all over the world.
If you are looking for a relationship, or to simply hook up and have fun, or even just meet new people, my advice would be to try and meet them in the day. It’s super easy in the day to get chatting to lots of people. You can meet them in quirky coffee shops, bars, or at the beach.

The women were lured to the Cancun region by offers of high-paying jobs as personal assistants or spa therapists.
"We want justice!" shouted dozens of people gathered at dawn outside a state courthouse in the beach resort of Cancun on Thursday last week. The crowd, mostly activists , students and human rights attorneys, was pleasantly surprised when their numbers increased by the arrival of members of a bikers' club.
Several hours later, the same protesters showed up at another state courthouse in the nearby beach resort of Playa del Carmen, chanting the same message and adding another one: "No more impunity!"
In both cases, judges would hear evidence about the state's biggest human trafficking raid in years, involving women from as far as Argentina and Germany who were allegedly tricked into working as prostitutes.
An alleged scheme to bring women into Mexico
On the night of July 30, officers under the command of the Quintana Roo's State's Attorney's Office raided two buildings in Cancun and Playa del Carmen. They ultimately detained 13 people, twelve of whom were later arraigned on charges of human trafficking, among others.
According to Quintana Roo state Attorney General Óscar Montes de Oca, the suspects had held dozens of women in captivity, many from foreign countries.
"They advertised as a spa business; but in reality, there were sexual acts happening in those two places where women were being exploited," Montes de Oca told CNN in an interview. Though they advertised separately, the two locations are believed to have been run by the same people, the state's attorney's office said.
Online ads seen by CNN show the raided buildings operated a business offering "the best escorts in Playa del Carmen" with photos of scantily clad women, touted as "available 24/7."
The advertisements ran on the dark web for years, Montes de Oca says, and were not easily found by the average person. It took the work of his office's cyber-crimes unit about a week to find the ads and begin the investigation. Investigators also used surveillance and other investigation methods, according to the attorney general.
Altogether, Montes de Oca says his officers found 21 women between the ages of 21 and 25 who were forced to work at those two places. At the Cancun site, there were two women from Venezuela, two from Mexico, and one each from Argentina, Colombia and Germany, according to the state Attorney General's Office. There were an additional 11 Venezuelan women at the site in Playa del Carmen, two Mexican women and one Colombian woman.
All had been lured by offers of high-paying jobs as personal assistants or spa therapists, Montes de Oca told CNN. "Once here, they would tell them that they had to pay for their transportation, plane tickets, immigration processing and that the way to pay for that was through prostitution. If they refused, they were threatened with physical harm or worse," he said, adding that the traffickers would take victims' passports and other personal identification documents, so that escaping was nearly impossible.
In both cases, judges granted several months for the state and the defense to carry out investigations, with follow-up hearings in the fall. During that time, the 12 suspects must remain in detention.
These cases, in what are supposed to be resort paradises, highlight Mexico's not-so-secret human trafficking issue.
