Project summary

My name is Romain Gressot, or Роман. A year ago, I graduated from EHESS school, in Paris. After a year away from university, I want to begin a research thesis, based on a long-lasting fieldwork. I'm interested in working in the city of Благовещенск to observe Russo-Chinese relationship. I intend to do so, by observing how evolves the construction of the cable-car (in collaboration with the french company Poma), that will link the Russian river to the Chinese one (Hēihé shì).

Today, before I administratively enroll into a Ph.D. I chose to spend around three months in Russia for three main reasons: First, learn the language, second, to go to Благовещенск and try to narrow a precise topic that will allow me to write a solid research projet. And third, I'll work on maintaining a partnership between a Russian and a French university, that would be interested in this project, that I'm eager to carry.
