🚀 Project Manager
📍 Remote | Full-time | Fintech startup
Our client is a newly launched fintech startup operating under a Canadian license with European founders. The company is focused on building seamless financial services for entrepreneurs and small businesses, offering modern solutions for global payments, multi-currency accounts, and financial operations.
The infrastructure is already in place, with a core team of 10 professionals onboard. The company operates in a low-risk environment and is now looking for a Russian-speaking Project Manager with relevant experience to take ownership of key operational processes.
💼 Role details:
Type: Full-time, remote (Office space available if the candidate is based in Prague or Tallinn, if necessary)
Working hours: 10:00–19:00 GMT+3
Language: Russian (mandatory), English (B2+), additional languages are a plus
Contract: Flexible:
→ If based in Russia – contract via Russian legal entity
→ If based in Europe – service agreement
Location: Anywhere
⚙️ A high degree of flexibility is expected, as well as the ability to manage communication in fast-paced and high-pressure situations.
Some preparatory work has already been completed, but the successful candidate will still be expected to oversee and further refine these operational processes.
🛠 Responsibilities:
-Prepare and coordinate the launch of a Canadian licensed financial institution in collaboration with cross-functional teams
-Manage communication between legal, finance, technology, and AML departments to ensure timely delivery of necessary tools, documentation, and procedures
-Oversee the project timeline, budget, and resource allocation, ensuring alignment between planned and actual outcomes
-Ensure all project deliverables meet required functional and quality specifications
-Facilitate meetings to resolve outstanding questions and drive decision-making
-Identify resource needs and work with relevant managers to assemble the appropriate team
🎯 Requirements:
-Proven experience in launching start-up projects, ideally in a fintech or MSB environment
-Background in FP&A, divisional finance, or business planning functions
-Strong multitasking abilities and organizational skills
-Experience in or solid understanding of the financial services sector
-A proactive, energetic mindset and a hands-on, problem-solving approach
-Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
