About BusinessProxy
BusinessProxy is an early-stage cybersecurity startup building managed browser and private app access for companies that need to give contractors, partners, BYOD users, support teams, and external workers access to selected work apps — without giving them a device-wide VPN or broad network access.
We focus on controlled browser-based work sessions: approved apps and domains, short-lived access, admin revoke, audit events, and policy-based access through a managed browser path.
We are looking for a hands-on B2B cybersecurity marketer who can help us shape the market narrative, build our marketing engine from the ground up, drive demand, and reach international customers.
The Role
This is a high-ownership startup role at the intersection of product marketing, demand generation, content, and go-to-market.
You will own how BusinessProxy is positioned, explained, and brought to market across English-speaking and Russian-speaking audiences. You will work directly with the founder/product team to sharpen messaging, define ICPs, create campaigns, build sales materials, and turn customer use cases into clear marketing assets.
Because we are an early-stage startup, this role requires speed, independence, and comfort with ambiguity. You should be ready to test ideas quickly, work with limited structure, and create the foundations of marketing rather than only operate an existing system.
This is not a role for someone who only wants to publish social media posts or manage agencies. We need someone who wants to build the marketing function for an early-stage cybersecurity product.
What You’ll Do
* Own product positioning, messaging, and value proposition for BusinessProxy.
* Translate complex cybersecurity and secure access concepts into clear business value for IT leaders, security teams, founders, MSPs, integrators, SaaS/ERP providers, and operations teams.
* Create use-case messaging for contractor access, BYOD work browsing, partner access, private app access, support and ops teams, QA testing, and CMS/admin access.
* Develop customer-facing content: landing pages, website copy, one-pagers, sales decks, email sequences, comparison pages, blog posts, FAQs, product explainers, and demo scripts.
* Build sales enablement materials: pitch decks, battle cards, objection handling, competitive comparisons, ICP definitions, and buyer persona messaging.
* Research competitors and market categories such as VPN alternatives, ZTNA, SASE/SSE, browser isolation, secure web gateways, private app access, enterprise browsers, and cloud access products.
* Plan and execute demand generation campaigns across LinkedIn, outbound email, SEO/content, partner channels, webinars, niche communities, and targeted B2B outreach.
* Work with product and engineering to make sure all security claims are accurate, credible, and appropriate for a cybersecurity audience.
* Help define go-to-market motions for contractors, BYOD teams, MSPs, SaaS/ERP/hosting providers, system integrators, and companies with temporary external access needs.
* Build and manage a content calendar for English and Russian markets. Arabic-language adaptation is a strong plus.
* Track campaign performance, lead quality, website conversion, demo requests, content engagement, and channel effectiveness.
* Help create the first repeatable marketing processes for the company.
What We’re Looking For
* Fluent English and Russian — written and spoken.
* 3+ years of experience in B2B SaaS, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, IT, developer tools, enterprise software, or a similar technical market.
* Strong product marketing skills: positioning, messaging, ICP development, buyer personas, use cases, and go-to-market planning.
* Excellent copywriting ability. You can write clear landing pages, emails, sales decks, product pages, and long-form content without relying on buzzwords.
* Ability to understand technical products quickly and explain them to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Experience creating marketing assets that support sales: pitch decks, one-pagers, battle cards, comparison pages, objection handling, and customer stories.
* Hands-on experience with lead generation channels such as LinkedIn, outbound email, SEO, content marketing, webinars, partner campaigns, or ABM.
* Startup mindset: you are comfortable with uncertainty, fast experiments, direct ownership, and building things from scratch.
* Ability to work without a large marketing team, heavy processes, or detailed instructions for every task.
* Analytical mindset: you can measure campaigns, understand funnel performance, and make practical decisions based on data.
* Low tolerance for vague cybersecurity marketing. You care about precision, trust, and clear communication.
Nice to Have
* Arabic language skills, especially business-level written Arabic for MENA content, outreach, and partner communication.
* Experience marketing cybersecurity products such as Zero Trust, ZTNA, VPN alternatives, SASE/SSE, IAM, access control, enterprise browsers, secure web gateways, browser isolation, CASB, or cloud security.
* Experience selling or marketing to MSPs, system integrators, SaaS providers, ERP vendors, hosting providers, or IT service companies.
* Experience with international go-to-market campaigns.
* Experience working in an early-stage startup or as the first marketing hire.
* Understanding of contractor access, BYOD security, private app access, partner portals, and external user access workflows.
* Experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, GA4, Search Console, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, email automation tools, or similar marketing systems.
What Success Looks Like
In the first 30 days, you understand the product, market, ICPs, competitors, and current website messaging. You create a clear messaging map and define priority segments.
In the first 60 days, you produce the first core marketing assets: homepage improvements, use-case pages, sales deck, outbound sequences, comparison messaging, and content plan.
In the first 90 days, you launch repeatable acquisition experiments across outbound, LinkedIn, SEO/content, partner outreach, or webinars — and report what is working, what is not, and what should scale.
Why Join BusinessProxy
You will join an early-stage cybersecurity startup at a point where marketing, positioning, and go-to-market are still being shaped.
You will have direct ownership over positioning, messaging, content, campaigns, and go-to-market from the beginning.
You will work on a real cybersecurity problem: giving external users controlled access to selected work apps without turning every access request into a VPN/network project.
You will help shape a product category at the intersection of private app access, managed browser access, BYOD, contractor access, and secure B2B collaboration.
You will work directly with the founder/product team and have visible impact on product strategy, market narrative, lead generation, and customer conversations.
This is a remote role with international market potential across English-speaking, Russian-speaking, and potentially Arabic-speaking regions.
How to Apply
Please send your CV or LinkedIn profile, 2–3 examples of relevant B2B/SaaS/cybersecurity/IT marketing work, and a short answer to this question:
How would you explain BusinessProxy in 30 seconds to an IT director who currently uses VPNs for contractor access?
* Bonus: include 2–3 campaign ideas you would test first for BusinessProxy.
