Job Description

We are seeking a technically-savvy Product Manager to join our IT team and drive the development of technology products and platforms that power our banking operations. You will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, working closely with software engineers, architects, and IT stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and innovative technology products.

Job responsibilities

• Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap for IT products, platforms, and internal systems
• Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and user stories
• Work closely with software development teams using Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Prioritize product backlog based on business value, technical dependencies, and resource capacity
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure technical feasibility and system scalability
• Manage API development, integrations, and middleware solutions
• Oversee core banking system enhancements, upgrades, and migrations
• Ensure products meet security standards, compliance requirements, and banking regulations
• Conduct sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives with development teams
• Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular updates on product development progress
• Drive continuous improvement of IT processes, tools, and development practices
• Evaluate and integrate third-party solutions, APIs, and fintech partnerships
• Document technical requirements, system architecture, and product specifications

Required qualifications

• 4-6 years of product management experience in IT/technology roles
• 2+ years of experience in banking, financial services, or fintech environments
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
• Technical knowledge of system architecture, databases, APIs, and cloud technologies
• Experience with core banking systems, payment gateways, or financial platforms
• Proficiency in product management tools (JIRA, Confluence)
• Ability to read and understand technical documentation
• Knowledge of banking IT infrastructure, security protocols, and compliance requirements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
