I want to stream and have my friends watch, but we dont want randoms to join and cause a commotion, especially when we talk about IRL things. I havent found anything about it so assume its not..
How would they make money by this model?
You really should just use discord or skype and screen share. Although if you really need a private stream, Youtube can do that. Set the privacy to unlisted and get the link to the watch page (not the /live page) and they can see it there.
It's just inconvinient since not everyone of my friends uses those services and we just wanna casually begin. Thanks for all the advice tho!
Twitch can see who isn't playing a game and playjng under no game or category its how in WoW blizzard and twitch find private server streamers
IRL is specifically for vlog-inspired, interactive content. If you are unsure whether the content you want to share fits within IRL, please set your broadcast to Not Playing.
There is no way to make a stream 'private' though.
Ah, I see. But technically if people follow they could still find us right?
