Transmite rápidamente la atmósfera de oriente en esos colores, esos paisajes, en una narración sugerente y unos personajes atractivos, todo ello adornado con melodías tradicionales que nos acercan al embrujo de tierras lejanas. Aquellos que esperen encontrar algo más y se dejen llevar por el título del film, se sentirán decepcionados al no dar con lo que buscan. Lejos de ser un mero manual de las artes amatorias, es una fábula, una leyenda en defensa del amor y la lealtad. Maravillosa energía la que me llega en todo lo relacionado con la cultura hindú. Hay que dejarse llevar.

A quiet space set apart from the main restaurant boasting an exposed brick wall and large windows overlooking historic & Vibrant Upper King Street. Maplewood wainscoting and overhead beams, artisan lighting and reproduction Van Gogh artwork (three keeping with the starry night theme of the restaurant) contribute to the warm ambiance of the room. The Wilkinson Room’s decor suits any event’s color palette. The second floor can be accessed by stairs or elevator.

The Vintage Room is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of our downstairs restaurant to give you and your guests the optimum private dining experience. The room is equipped with audio visual capabilities, including a projector. This intimate space is ideal for corporate functions, pharmaceutical dinners, and small private parties. The cozy interior highlights our love of wine at STARS.
With 360 degree views of Charleston’s skyline, our Rooftop Bar is as gorgeous during the day as it is in the evening. Guests can relax around the bar or enjoy table seating while taking in the sunset and starlit nights. The full Rooftop bar can be reserved for large events and gatherings. For more intimate events we have a private area overlooking King Street that can be reserved privately from the main Rooftop bar for cocktail receptions or cocktail hour prior to dinner in the Wilkinson Room.

With its premiere location on Upper King Street in historic downtown Charleston, Stars is an exceptional event venue for private dining in Charleston, SC. We are happy to host bridal showers, weddings, rehearsal dinners, anniversary parties, business meetings and more. Whether you’re hosting a formal evening affair, luncheon or casual rooftop gathering under the stars, we offer customized menus for parties as few as 15 to as large as 140. Our Charleston, SC event venue specialists will work alongside you to ensure every detail is exactly how you imagined.

The room’s Maplewood wainscoting and overhead beams, rich hardwood floors, artisan lighting and stunning reproduction Van Gogh artwork (three keeping with the starry night theme of the restaurant) contribute to the warm ambiance of the room. The Wilkinson Room’s elegant decor suits any event’s color palette. Media hook-ups and a dedicated sound system are available for music of guests’ choice. The second floor can be accessed by stairs or elevator.
The Wilkinson Room: 80 for table service, and 65 for a buffet style dining.
From lavish hor d’oeuvres to decadent desserts, Stars Restaurant offers full catering menus to suit everyone’s tastes and party style. We can create a quiet, elegant dinner event with passed hor d’oeuvres or engage your guests while watching our culinary team create masterpieces on our live fire wood grill at the Chefs Table. Our catering menu is reflective of our impressive dinner menu including fresh seafood, Southern inspired dishes and wood grilled poultry and steaks.
Stars Restaurant is available for luncheon parties, bridal showers and business meetings. Our restaurant is not open to the public for lunch, so guests planning a daytime event will enjoy private dining in Charleston, SC with the entire restaurant to themselves! Our lunch catering menu offers breakfast buffet and sandwich lunch options, as well as dinner entrees.
The city’s mild weather lends itself beautifully to outside events making our Rooftop Bar an ideal Charleston, SC event venue for private parties. With 360 degree views of downtown Charleston, our Rooftop Bar is as gorgeous during the day as it is in the evening. Guests can relax around the bars or enjoy table seating while taking in the sunset and starlit nights. Surrounded by herb and sea grass planters, the Rooftop Bar echoes the natural decor of the Lowcountry.
The Rooftop Bar accommodates 60 to 150 people.
Nestled in the back of our second floor, guests will find our quaint private dining space, the Vintage Room. The space can hold up to 24 guests for a plated dinner. The Vintage Room is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of our downstairs restaurant to give you and your guests the optimum private dining experience. The room is equipped with audio visual capabilities, including a projector. This intimate space is ideal for corporate functions, pharmaceutical dinners, and small private parties. The cozy interior highlights our love of wine here at STARS. While sitting amongst our wine bottle light installations and viewing our expansive wine wall rack, guests will feel as if they are sitting in a real-life wine tasting cellar.

On all messaging services, once your username or phone number is discovered, anyone can add you or message you. Also, on most services, people can simply search you and start a conversation.
With Stars, you need both the username and Star Pin to add anyone, and the Star Pin can be changed anytime. In addition, there is no search on Stars. You simply cannot search or find a username and start messaging with anyone on Stars.
With a changeable Star Pin and No Search, you are always in control on who can connect with you on Stars.
Stars is fun with friends and family. To get started, invite them to download Stars and add you on Stars. You can also create a group and ask them to join your group using the group number and pin.
To add a friend on Stars, you need your friends:
- Star Username
- Star Pin
Once they accept the add request, you will be able to message with them.
If you ever get an add request from anyone you don't know, or do not wish to communicate with, simply reset your Star Pin, and they will not be able send another request to you.
Changing Star Pin does not block existing friends on Stars. They can continue messaging you. Only new friend requests will need the new Star Pin.
Just send people the group number and group pin via email or SMS. After installing Stars, they can self join your group.

Messaging has become a very important way for us to keep in touch with our loved ones. Over 20B messages are sent each day over SMS and various other services. Unfortunately, there is a dark side of Messaging! Cyberbullying, Grooming, Spamming and Noise are very real, and have become and unfortunate part and parcel of these services.
Once your identity, a phone number or username, is discovered by these negative elements, there is no way for you to control who is going to communicate you. Ultimately, you have to go thru the painful process of changing your phone number or username, only to be exposed to the same problems again.
