Can l go inside the Pyramid of Giza?

Yes. Among the Egyptian Pyramids of Giza, the Pyramid of Khufu allow tourists to visit the inside, and the only passageway is from the Grand Gallery to the King’s Chamber.

Does it cost extra to go inside Giza Pyramids ?

Yes. The ticket to go inside Giza pyramid is not included in the ticket of the Giza Scenic Area, so you should purchase the inside ticket separately at a price of 400 EGP (about $21).

The entrance to the pyramid has become larger by excavation, and cement steps and iron guardrails have been set up. Going inside the ascending passage becomes narrower and narrower, even though many segments are less than 1.5 meters in height and width. To facilitate the passage of tourists, non-slip wooden boards, handrails, and lighting lamps have been laid in the passage. In such a deep and narrow tunnel, visitors need to bend over and climb up all the time. Although it is a test for physical strength, meanwhile you can realize the difficulty to construct such a hulking pyramid, making you marvel at the wisdom and superb technique of the ancient Egyptians.
About 20 minutes ahead of the passage, you can reach the permissible endpoint, that is, the King’s Chamber. The last segment is the narrowest and lowest section of the passage, with a height and width of fewer than 1.2 meters, but the four sides are extremely smooth. The size of the passage may be designed according to the size of the sarcophagus. It is said that the King’s Chamber is located in the center of the Pyramid of Khufu, in which an empty sarcophagus is waiting to be unraveled the mystery. The joints of the wall, ground, and top were matched exactly, which does not look like an architecture built by the ancients more than 4,000 years ago, but built by modern people with various machines.

The Pyramid of Khufu is the tallest and largest one in Egypt, equivalent to the height of 40 floors. Therefore, many people imagine that the inside pyramid must be very spacious, but that is not the case. The pyramid is a piece of similar-size stone piled. For stability, it is difficult to leave too much space inside. At least for now, the inside is not spacious.

What can you see in the Giza pyramids at night?

There is a light show in the Giza Scenic Area at night, which is a wonderful program that cannot be missed. With rocks as the curtain, the lights tell the ancient legends of Egypt. The images on the rock curtain include a statue of God, murals, and portraits of pharaohs and their wives, just like real people come in sight. With three pyramids in the distance as the background, the Sphinx is sometimes bright and sometimes dark under the flowing lights and changed colors.

no, you are not legally allowed to climb the 4,500-year-old Great Pyramid of Giza. There are reportedly strict rules against scaling pyramids, and you can even be sent to prison for three years , The entire site is out of bounds after 5 pm, with guards patrolling the area. there are reportedly strict rules against scaling pyramids, and you can even be sent to prison for three years

Yes, Among the Egyptian Pyramids of Giza, the Pyramid of Khufu allow tourists to visit the inside, and the only passageway is from the Grand Gallery to the King's Chamber.

Why can't people go inside the pyramids?

The chambers in the pyramids are empty. Grave robbers removed the bodies and many of the funereal goods centuries ago, and modern-day plunderers took whatever remained. All you will see inside are narrow corridors and empty rooms.

On the Giza plateau, the Great Pyramids and the Sphinx date back over 3,000 years. While there are actually over 100 pyramids in Egypt, the Pyramids of Giza are by far the most famous and are the last of the original Seven Wonders of the World. Your qualified Egyptologist guide will provide a fascinating introduction to each of the three pyramids: Cheops, Khafre and Menakaure. You will have free time to enter one of the pyramids (additional cost), although your guide is not permitted to enter with you.

After visiting the pyramids, you'll then continue across the plateau for a photo opportunity of the three pyramids rising from the sands, with the Cairo skyline in the background.

A short drive to the city side of the plateau finds you standing at the feet of the Sphinx, for thousands of years the enigmatic symbol of Egypt. The Sphinx has the body of a lion and the head of a king, and is surrounded in mystery, including the unanswered questions: who built it and why.

The tour guide was very rushed and didn't explain anything.
Was always on her mobile phone and left us to our own devices even though this was a private, guided tour.
I loved this tour! Andrew, the Egyptologist guide, was really great - full of interesting facts about everything we saw from the Pyramids and Sphinx to Cairo in general as we drove from my hotel to Giza . Also he gave a great briefing about how to deal with the souvenir sellers which meant I wasn't troubled at all.
The Pyramids and Sphinx were awe-inspiring and I chose to go inside the Great Pyramid which was incredible, if a little cramped :-
As a female travelling alone I would definitely recommend this tour, felt very safe and was a once in a lifetime experience! Thank you!

This was the perfect tour for me, a woman in my mid-seventies traveling alone. It was nice that I was the only one on the tour as I could spend as much or as little time as I wanted at each location. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable. It was like taking the tour with an Egyptologist. It is impossible to describe what it is like to see the pyramids for the first time. Even though I saw them with my own eyes and touched the stones with my own hands I still could not believe I was actually there. I even went down inside one of the pyramids..... not for the squeamish or the claustrophobic. After visiting the pyramids and the sphinx, we stopped at a papyrus store in Giza. If you do this, bring your credit card because you will want to buy everything. Then the tour guide took me to a shop that specialized in metal objects because I told him I was looking for a very specific metal plate. I spotted exactly what I wanted as soon as we walked in the shop. I could not have been more satisfied with this whole adventure.
We booked very last minute, but South Sinai Travel accommodated our request. Our tour guide Ahmed was wonderful, he was very warm and made us feel welcome and safe as we toured the pyramids and the Sphinx.

Had my first visit to Egypt recently for business but I managed to get a day off so that I could see the sights. After looking at a few operators I decided upon viator and I wasn't disappointed. Received a text the night before to confirm who my guide would be and what time we were to meet. My guide was excellent, very informative, patient and spoke excellent English. The tour itself was great, extensive tour of the pyramids and sphinx as well as an optional camel ride which although touristy was really good fun. I also opted to have an extended tour of the Egyptian museum which was not to be missed. Really great tour that I would highly recommend to anyone.
Manar and Ivraim were the BEST!!! traveled solo for work and wanted full day tour of cairo, but safety was a concern. After visiting Cairo, I will never think about safety again. I never felt anything but safe.

Manar was waiting for me lobby and I could immediately tell I was in good hands. We visited the famous souk and neighboring streets with beautiful architecture, the Cairo museum, local shops of my choosing I choose essential oils but there were 5 options then a wonderful authent
