My teaching method consists to speak only in Italian, with children and with adults, because in my opinion this is the best way to learn a foreign language. The teaching method that I use with children consists in making them learn Italian through play, singing songs, reading stories and always talking to them in Italian so that they can learn new words everyday. The method that I use with adults consists in making sure that they learn Italian by always speaking in Italian, have conversation in Italian, study grammar, do written excercises, listening excercises. I will start from the basic level and then go a higher level.

About Me I'm Chiara, I'm an Italian girl and I come from Italy. I'm 26 and I live in Edinburgh. I'm a babysitter and I work with 3 children, twins of 2 years old and a child of 7 years old. - I´m a professional Italian teacher from Italy, now living in Rome. I have 8 years teaching experience. I am very patient and I love to make a relaxed and friendly class environment. - The method is mainly what is called communicative, aimed at stimulating the student to speak immediately and put the focus on the functional aspect of the language. For beginners, I usually follow a specific program, I prepare a course and for each lesson I send students the files that I scan from the various books. Also the lessons can be essentially developed as conversations on specific subjects.

Buongiorno! I give Italian lessons for those who want to either learn the basics of the language (grammar, syntax), or improve the conversation (diction, vocabulary, ways of speaking), listening and writing. The course is for all levels, I try to customize the teaching method according to the needs and level of the student.
I am also looking for a hands-on, life-saving course to allow the student to arrive at a basic conversation as early as possible.
If the student likes (better) to know the Italian culture, we can speak of art, literature, cinema, music, gastronomic culture, traditions, Italian customs and of course also subjects of interest its interest.
During the course we speak Italian, if necessary I can speak also French and English.

I am Italian mother tongue, graduated in Communication Science (with exams in linguistics, art history, history of literature and history of Italian cinema), I studied English and French foreign languages, I have studied singing and music history at the conservatory of my city, I took a course for teaching Italian to foreigners at Laboratorio Itals of the University of Venezia.
