Privacy policy for Web Sucker
Web Sucker is a browser extension that shows colors, fonts, and SVGs on the page you are viewing. It is made by Anton Shirokov.
What stays on your device
When you open the popup, the extension reads the active tab and lists colors, fonts, and SVGs. Those results are shown only to you.
The eyedropper takes a screenshot of the visible tab, reads the color of one pixel, and deletes the image.
To name a font, the extension may download a font file that the page already uses. To export an SVG, it may download images that SVG references. These requests go to that site, without cookies, and the files are not sent to the developer.
The extension stores, on your device only, the last picked color, the last picked font (family, size, and weight), and which popup tab was open. This is removed when you remove the extension or clear its storage.
Copying to the clipboard happens only when you click Copy.
What the extension does not do
It has no account, no analytics, and no ads. It does not sell or share data. It does not collect browsing history, and it does not send page content to the developer or to any other server.
