YT Video Checker runs locally in your web browser. We do NOT collect, store, or transmit any personal data, web browsing history, or sensitive information to our servers or any third parties. 

- Local Storage: The extension stores local settings (such as language preference), cached video monetization status, and a history of checked videos directly on your device using Chrome's local storage API (chrome.storage.local). This data never leaves your device.

- Active Tab Permission: We access the URL of the active YouTube tab only when you open the extension popup to analyze the video/channel metadata. This data is processed locally and is not sent to external servers.

2. Third-Party Services

The extension communicates with the following third-party APIs solely to perform its functions:

- Return YouTube Dislike API: Used to fetch public video rating statistics (likes/dislikes) for the currently checked video.

- ExtensionPay API: Used securely to verify licensing status and manage premium subscriptions.

No personal user data is shared with these services by the extension.
