This Privacy Policy explains how the UdevsBank Courier App collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information when you use the mobile application and related services.


This app is designed for courier and delivery operations. It is not intended for general consumer use.


1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of information.

Information you provide directly:

- Phone number

- Passcode and verification token used during login

- Courier profile details, such as:

- name

- branch, region, and district

- address

- vehicle model, vehicle number, vehicle type, and vehicle photo

- timetable or working schedule

- profile photo

- supervisor information

- Order-related information, such as:

- customer name

- customer phone number

- customer address

- customer PINFL or other identity-related fields where required by the workflow

- delivery time, order status, comments, and route or delivery notes

- Document and image files you capture or upload in the app

- Support or feedback messages submitted through the in-app feedback flow


Information collected automatically:

- Device brand, model, operating system version, app version, and build information

- Access and refresh tokens, user ID, branch ID, and other session identifiers

- Location data, including:

- precise GPS location

- background location

- route and movement history

- location timestamp and heading/azimuth where available

- Device and environment data used for courier operations, such as:

- battery level

- Bluetooth status

- location service status

- system sound status

- network connectivity status

- Diagnostic information and screenshots that may be included in support reports


Data cached on your device:

- authentication tokens

- courier profile information

- cached orders

- offline orders and related document files

- cached customer or credit detail data

- queued location records waiting to be synchronized

- saved images and temporary upload data


2. How We Collect Information

We collect information in the following ways:

- When you log in or verify your account

- When you update your profile or phone number

- When you create, view, update, or complete orders

- When you capture photos, scans, or documents in the app

- When you enable location access and use navigation or delivery tracking features

- When the app sends location updates in the background

- When you submit feedback or support requests in Wiredash

- When the app communicates with our backend services to sync courier, order, and status data


3. Why We Use Information

We use the collected information to:

- authenticate you and maintain your session

- verify your identity and manage account access

- display your courier profile and operational details

- assign, manage, and update delivery orders

- track delivery progress and courier location

- support background tracking and offline synchronization

- process uploaded images and documents

- provide route, map, geocoding, and navigation features

- send notifications and operational updates

- diagnose issues, improve reliability, and provide support

- meet legal, regulatory, security, audit, and operational requirements


4. Legal Basis and Operational Need

Where applicable, we process personal data because it is necessary to:

- perform our contract with you or the organization that provides your work access

- operate the courier service and related delivery workflows

- comply with legal or regulatory obligations

- protect the security and integrity of our systems and users

- support legitimate business operations, including support, troubleshooting, and audit purposes


5. How We Store and Protect Information

We use a combination of on-device storage and network-based systems.


On-device storage:

The app uses local storage on your device to keep some app data available offline and to support session continuity. This includes Hive-based local data stores and other device-level storage mechanisms.


Network transmission:

The app communicates with backend API services to authenticate users, fetch and update courier and order data, upload documents and images, and sync location records.


Security measures:

We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal data, including:

- authenticated API requests

- token-based session handling

- permission-based access to camera, location, and other sensitive device features

- local caching only where needed for app functionality

- development-only logging in non-production builds


No security system is perfect. We cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted over the internet or stored on your device.


6. Third-Party Services and Access

We may share or transmit information with the following categories of third parties or service providers as needed for app functionality:

- Our backend service providers that operate the courier platform and process order, profile, and location data

- Wiredash for in-app feedback, support messages, and screenshots

- Yandex MapKit and Yandex geocoding services for map rendering, route support, and address lookup

- External map applications that you choose to open from within the app

- Google SMS User Consent / SMS Retriever APIs used by the OTP autofill flow on Android

- Google Translate for localized error-message translation where used by the app


These services may process technical or personal data necessary to provide their functions. Their own privacy policies and terms may also apply.


7. Cookies and Tracking

This is a mobile application, and we did not identify cookie-based tracking in the app code.


We also did not identify active analytics SDKs in the current implementation. Firebase Analytics and Firebase Messaging are referenced only in commented-out code and are not active in the current build logic reviewed for this policy.


8. Location Data

The app uses location data for delivery tracking, route support, map features, and operational monitoring.


Depending on your device settings and permissions, location data may be collected:

- while the app is open

- while the app is running in the background

- while a foreground service is active


You can disable location access through your device settings, but some core app features may stop working if you do so.


9. Camera, Photos, and Documents

The app may access your camera and, where needed, selected image or photo sources to:

- take profile photos

- capture delivery or identity documents

- scan documents and supporting materials

- upload images required by courier workflows


Captured files may be stored locally until they are uploaded or otherwise processed by the app or our backend systems.


10. Notifications and OTP Verification

We may use push-style or local notification features to support app operations and status updates.


For verification, the app may use SMS-based OTP autofill mechanisms on Android. The OTP flow may access verification messages only to the extent needed to detect and fill the code.


11. Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary to:

- provide the app and its features

- maintain your account and session

- synchronize delivery and courier operations

- resolve disputes or support requests

- meet legal, accounting, audit, security, or compliance obligations

- maintain backups and operational records


When data is no longer needed, we will delete it, anonymize it, or retain it in a restricted form where required by law or business necessity.


12. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to:

- access your personal data

- request correction of inaccurate data

- request deletion of data, subject to legal and operational limitations

- withdraw or change permissions granted through your device

- object to or restrict certain processing activities

- request information about how your data is used


You can also:

- revoke camera, location, Bluetooth, notification, or other permissions in your device settings

- sign out of the app to remove your local session data

- request that stored app data be reviewed, corrected, or deleted through the privacy contact below


13. Children’s Privacy

This app is intended for business and courier operations and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.


14. International Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than the one in which you live, depending on the location of our servers, service providers, and technology partners. Where required, we take steps intended to protect personal data during such transfers.


15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our app, technology, legal requirements, or business practices. When we do, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide notice in the app or through other reasonable means.
