SPI Connect ("we", "our", or "us") operates the SPI Connect mobile application (hereinafter referred to as the "App"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our App and the choices you have associated with that data.

- Institutional Email Address / Mobile Number
- Educational Details (Department, Semester, Shift)
- Teacher Profile Information (Designation, Office Room No, BCS Batch, Professional Background)
- Profile Pictures or Document Attachments (if uploaded by users or admins)
2. Use of Data
SPI Connect uses the collected data for various institutional and academic purposes:
- To provide, maintain, and manage academic services (such as Class Routines, Notices, Attendance, and Teacher Directories).
- To manage user authentication and role-based access (Student, Teacher, Guest, and Admin).
- To send important institutional notifications, breaking news, and updates via Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM).
- To improve app performance and user experience through analytics and support ticket management.
3. Firebase & Third-Party Services
Our App uses secure third-party services, primarily Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication, Firestore Database, Firebase Storage, and Cloud Messaging), for back-end infrastructure, data storage, and authentication. These services adhere to their own strict privacy standards and data protection guidelines.
4. Data Security
The security of your data is important to us. We implement robust security protocols via Firebase and secure back-end controls to protect institutional data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
5. Children's Privacy
Our App is intended exclusively for the students and faculty members of Shariatpur Polytechnic Institute. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13 without institutional or parental supervision.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. Changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page or updated within the App.
