This Privacy Policy explains how Pelada ("the App", "we", "our") handles your information. We are committed to protecting your privacy. Please read this document carefully.
1. Overview
Pelada is a fully offline coaching notebook for youth football that keeps your squads, players, training sessions, drills and match line-ups in one place. The App declares no permissions and contains no networking code, so all data you enter is stored exclusively on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.
2. Data We Do NOT Collect
We do not collect, store, or transmit any of the following:
- Personal identification information (name, email, phone number, etc.)
- Account credentials or authentication tokens
- Device location or GPS coordinates (the App never requests location permission)
- Usage analytics, crash reports, or behavioral telemetry
- The advertising identifier (the App does not request or use it)
- Any squad, player, session, match or photo content you create
3. Data Stored Locally on Your Device
The following data is stored only on your device — in the App's private SharedPreferences, with imported photos copied into the App's private files directory — and is never sent to any external server:
- Squads & players: age group, kit colours, training days, and per-player shirt number, position, dominant foot, optional photo and attendance history.
- Sessions & drills: planned session timelines, attendance records, session history, custom drills and reusable templates.
- Matches: formations, pitch line-ups and scores.
All locally stored data remains under your full control. You may delete individual squads, players, sessions and matches within the App, and uninstalling the App removes all data (including imported photos) from your device.
4. Third-Party Services
The App does not integrate any third-party services and works fully offline. There is no HTTP client, no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, no crash reporter and no attribution SDK. No data is ever sent off your device.
5. Permissions
The App requests no permissions. Its Android manifest declares no `<uses-permission>` entries — it does not request internet access, location, contacts, phone identifiers, storage, camera, microphone, or the advertising identifier. Photos you attach are selected through the Android system photo picker, which returns only the single image you choose and needs no storage permission.
6. No Advertising or Analytics SDKs
Pelada does not integrate any advertising networks, analytics SDKs (such as Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar), or third-party tracking libraries. There are no ads of any kind within the App.
7. Children's Privacy
The App is a tool for coaches and does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. Since the App collects no personal information and transmits no data, it is safe for use by all ages. Any player details a coach records are stored only on the coach's own device.
8. Data Security
Because all data is stored locally on your device, the security of that data depends on the security measures provided by the Android operating system and your device (screen lock, encryption, etc.). We do not expose any data to external parties.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in an updated version of this document bundled with a new App release. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised accordingly.
