7X Studio ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains our data practices for the Local Password Vault Google Chrome extension.

1. Local-First & Zero-Knowledge Architecture

Local Password Vault is built on a strict Zero-Knowledge and Local-First architecture.

• No Server Data Collection: We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data, master passwords, or credentials.

• On-Device Encryption: All your accounts, passwords, and sensitive notes are encrypted directly on your local device using military-grade AES-256 encryption.

• No Decryption Ability: Your master password acts as the unique decryption key. Since we do not store or transmit your master password, we have absolutely no ability to access, recover, or decrypt your data.

2. Chrome Extension Permissions Justifications

We only request the absolute minimum permissions required to provide the core functionality of the extension:

• storage: Required to save and load your encrypted vault data and local extension settings securely on your local device storage.

• identity (Google OAuth): Required solely for the optional cloud backup and sync feature. This allows the extension to authenticate directly with your own Google Drive account.

• lemonsqueezy.com (Host permission): Required to securely verify the validity of your PRO version license key against the Lemon Squeezy API.

3. Optional Cloud Synchronization

If you choose to enable the Google Drive Cloud Backup & Sync (PRO) feature, your encrypted vault is securely backed up and synchronized directly to a private, hidden folder in your own Google Drive.

• This connection is established directly between the extension and Google's API.

• No third-party intermediary servers (including 7X Studio) ever touch, see, or transmit your data.

We do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise transfer your information to third parties. All operations are strictly local or direct to your own cloud storage.
