1. Zero Developer Data Collection

We want to be completely clear: We do not collect, store, sell, or transmit any of your personal information or user data. The Extension is designed to operate without needing any data on our servers. All processing and data handling occurs either locally on your computer or directly between your browser and the third-party AI service you choose to use.

2. How the Extension Handles Data

The Extension handles two types of data in two distinct ways:

a) Data Stored Locally on Your Device

For the Extension to function and provide a convenient experience, some data is saved locally on your computer using the browser's built-in storage (chrome.storage.local API). This data never leaves your device and is not accessible by us. This includes:

• User Settings: Your chosen AI Provider (e.g., Groq, OpenAI), your API Key for that provider, and your preferred language (English or Indonesian). Your API key is stored locally so you don't have to re-enter it every time.
• Idea History: A list of the ideas you have generated, including the text of the idea, the URL of the source webpage, and the timestamp of when it was created. This is stored for your convenience to review past ideas.

b) Data Transmitted to Third-Party AI Services

The core function of the Extension is to send data to an AI service of your choice to generate ideas. This action is initiated by you.

• What is Sent: The text content of your active webpage, along with any text you enter into the "Niche/Expertise" field.
• Who it is Sent To: This data is sent directly from your browser to the API of the AI provider you have configured (e.g., OpenAI, Groq, Google Gemini). Your API key is included in this request to authenticate you with their service.
• Our Role: The Extension acts only as an intermediary to facilitate this request. We do not see, log, or store the content of these requests.

3. Permissions Justification

The Extension requests the minimum permissions necessary to function:

• activeTab: To get the URL and allow the script to run on the page you are currently viewing, but only when you click the extension icon.
• scripting: To execute the code that reads the text content from the active tab.
• storage: To save your settings and idea history locally on your device.
• host_permissions: To allow the Extension to make connections to the third-party AI APIs you have selected.

4. Children's Privacy

This Extension is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.

5. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in an updated version of the Extension and a new "Last Updated" date on this page.
