This Privacy Policy describes how Super Icy Fish ("the App", "we", "our")
handles information when you use our mobile application.

a) Data you provide
The App stores the following data locally on your device only:
- Fishing session details (date, location name, duration)
- Catch records (species, weight, depth, lure used)
- Photos you take within the App
- Lure and tackle information you enter
- App settings (Glove Mode, Battery Saver preference)
- City name and coordinates you enter manually for weather
This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted
to our servers.
b) Data collected automatically
The App uses anonymous analytics to understand general usage
patterns. This may include:
- Device identifiers (collected ephemerally)
- App usage events (screens viewed, features used)
- Device type and operating system version
This data is anonymous, cannot identify you personally,
and is used solely to improve the App.

2. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The App uses the following third-party services:
a) Open-Meteo (open-meteo.com)
Used to fetch weather forecasts and historical temperature data
for the city you enter manually. The city name and its
geographic coordinates are sent to Open-Meteo servers to
retrieve weather information.

b) Open-Meteo Geocoding API (geocoding-api.open-meteo.com)
Used to search for cities by name when you set your fishing
location. Your search query (city name) is sent to this service.
c) Google Play Services
Standard Google Play Services may collect device and usage
data as described in Google's Privacy Policy:

3. PERMISSIONS
───────────────────────────────────────
The App requests the following device permissions:
- INTERNET
Required to fetch weather data and search for cities.
- CAMERA
Used only when you choose to take a photo of a catch.
Photos are stored locally on your device.
The App does not upload photos anywhere.
The App does NOT request location (GPS) permission.
Your fishing location is entered manually by you.

4. DATA STORAGE AND RETENTION

All fishing data (sessions, catches, tackle, photos) is stored
exclusively on your device using a local database.
We do not operate servers that store your personal fishing data.
Anonymous analytics data is retained for up to 90 days,
after which it is automatically deleted.
If you uninstall the App, all locally stored data is permanently
deleted from your device.

5. DATA SHARING

We do not sell, trade, or rent any user data to third parties.
We do not share your fishing records, catch data, photos,
or any personally identifiable information with any third party.
The only data transmitted externally is:
- City name / coordinates → Open-Meteo (weather only)
- Anonymous usage events → Analytics (no personal data)

6. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
