This privacy policy applies to the ID Card Photo Maker mobile application (the "App") developed by DigitalGold ("we", "us", or "our").

We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data our app uses, how it works, and why. We designed the app so that everything happens directly on your device.

By using ID Card Photo Maker, you agree to the terms below.

1. What data the app collects

We keep data collection to an absolute minimum. Here's everything ID Card Photo Maker works with:

Photos and images

• What exactly: Photos taken with the app's camera, or images selected from your device gallery.
• How it's used: Only for cropping, applying the correct frame for your document type (passport, visa, etc.), and preparing the final layout for printing.
• Important: All photos stay on your device. They are never uploaded to our servers or any cloud service. Temporary files are automatically deleted from cache when you close the app or finish editing.

Face data (via ML Kit)

• What exactly: Face coordinates (eyes, nose, face boundaries) detected by Google's ML Kit technology.
• How it's used: To show real-time guidance on screen (get closer, move back, center your face). This helps you take a photo that meets official document requirements.
• Important: Face analysis happens completely offline on your phone. No biometric or other data ever leaves your device or gets stored after you finish.

Advertising ID

• What exactly: Your device's advertising identifier (Advertising ID) provided by Google Play services.
• How it's used: The app shows ads through Google AdMob. The Advertising ID is used to show relevant ads and prevent fraud.
• Important: You can reset or limit ad tracking at any time in your device's Google settings.

Language preference

• What exactly: Your selected app language (English, Ukrainian, or Polish).
• How it's used: To display the interface in your chosen language.
• Important: This setting is stored only locally on your device.

2. What the app does NOT do

To be perfectly clear:

• No personal data (name, email, address, phone number)
• No location tracking
• No access to your contacts, calendar, or SMS
• No uploading your photos or any other data to external servers (except the Advertising ID for AdMob as noted above)
• No analytics SDKs (Firebase, Facebook Analytics, etc.)

3. Permissions the app requests

ID Card Photo Maker only needs permissions required to function:

• Camera: To take photos. You can allow access only while using the app.
• Storage / photos: To open an image from your gallery and to save the final print layout to your device.

You can change these permissions anytime in your phone's settings.

4. Third-party services

The only external SDK we use is:

• Google AdMob (for showing ads). It may collect and transmit the Advertising ID. Google's privacy policy is available here.

All other libraries (CameraX, ML Kit, PhotoView) work fully offline on your device.

5. Children

Our app can be safely used by children because it does not collect any personal information and never uploads photos. We deliberately do not create accounts or ask for age. All data processing happens on the parent's or child's device.

6. Data retention and deletion

All photos and temporary files created by the app are stored only in the app's private cache folder on your device. They are automatically deleted when you:

• Close the app
• Finish editing a photo
• Clear the app's cache from your device settings

If you save a final print layout to your gallery, that file is stored on your device and you can delete it at any time using any file manager or gallery app.

Since we do not collect or store any personal data on our servers, there is no data to delete from our side.

7. Changes to this policy

If we update this privacy policy, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will add a notice inside the app.
