This Privacy Policy explains how Esport Baller ("the App", "we", "our") handles your information. We are committed to protecting your privacy. Please read this document carefully.

1. Overview

Esport Baller is an offline streetball companion for scoring pickup games (HORSE, PIG, 21, King of the Hill and Lightning), keeping a called-shot deck, tracking a squad of players with win/loss and head-to-head records, running solo drills, using a game and shot clock, and saving the courts you play on. The App is designed with an offline-first approach: all personal data you enter is stored exclusively on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit any of the following:

• Personal identification information (name, email, phone number, etc.)
• Account credentials or authentication tokens
• Device location or GPS coordinates (the App never requests location permission)
• Usage analytics, crash reports, or behavioral telemetry
• The advertising identifier (the App does not request or use it)
• The content of your games, scores, players, shots, drills, or saved courts

3. Data Stored Locally on Your Device

The following data is stored only on your device, and is never sent to any external server:

• Games & scores: chosen format, per-game scoring, letters, points, rotations, eliminations and undo history.
• Squad: player names and their accumulated wins, losses and head-to-head history.
• Called shots: the built-in shot deck and any custom shots you write yourself.
• Drills & clock: drill sets, targets and durations you use in Drill Lab, plus game-clock and shot-clock settings.
• Courts: the indoor, outdoor and street courts you choose to save.
• Preferences: haptic feedback and other in-app settings.

All locally stored data remains under your full control. You may edit or delete individual games, players, shots and courts, use the reset options in the App to clear everything, or uninstall the App to remove all data. The App also lets you export your data to a file you create and control.

4. Third-Party Services

The App works fully offline for all of its scoring, roster and drill features. The only network feature is the Map tab, which downloads map tiles from OpenStreetMap to display courts. These requests fetch map imagery only — no identifiers, analytics, account data or personal content are sent with them. No user-generated content, games or progress data is ever sent off your device.

5. Permissions

The App declares the following permissions:

• `android.permission.INTERNET` and `android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE` — used only to check connectivity and download OpenStreetMap map tiles for the Map tab. No personal data is transmitted.
• `android.permission.VIBRATE` — used for haptic feedback during scoring actions.
• `android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE` (Android 9 and below only, `maxSdkVersion 29`) — used only when you explicitly export your data to a file.

The App does NOT request:

• Location (GPS, coarse, background)
• The advertising identifier (AD_ID)
• Contacts
• Phone state or identifiers
• SMS or call log access
• Camera or microphone access

6. No Advertising or Analytics SDKs

Esport Baller does not integrate any advertising networks, analytics SDKs (such as Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar), or third-party tracking libraries. There are no ads of any kind within the App.

7. Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. Since the App collects no personal information from any user, it is safe for use by all ages.

8. Data Security

Because all user-generated data is stored locally on your device, the security of that data depends on the security measures provided by the Android operating system and your device (screen lock, encryption, etc.). We do not expose any data to external parties.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in an updated version of this document bundled with a new App release. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised accordingly.
