Daily ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your 

privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the Daily app handles 

your information.

1. Information We Collect

Daily does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information 

to our servers. The app does not require account registration and 

does not have access to your personal data.

All data created within the app — including your habits, goals, 

completion history, notes, achievements, and settings — is stored 

locally on your device using the device's built-in storage 

(SQLite database).

We do not have access to this data. It never leaves your device 

unless you explicitly export it yourself.

2. Permissions Used

Daily requests the following Android permissions:

• POST_NOTIFICATIONS — to send local habit reminders that you 

configure inside the app. Reminders are processed entirely on 

your device. No notification data is sent to any external server.

• SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM — to deliver reminders at the exact time 

you set. Required for accurate habit notifications.

• READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE / WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE — only used 

when you manually choose to import or export your habit data 

as a JSON file. We do not access your files without your action.

3. Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, rent, or trade any of your data because 

we never receive it in the first place. All your habit data 

stays on your device and is fully under your control.

4. Third-Party Services

Daily does not use third-party analytics, advertising networks, 

crash reporting services, or any other external services that 

would collect data about you.

5. Backup and Export

Daily allows you to manually export your data as a JSON file 

through the device's standard sharing menu. This file can be 

saved or shared at your own discretion. We have no involvement 

in or visibility into what you do with exported files.

When importing a backup file, the data is read directly into 

the app's local database on your device.

6. Children's Privacy

Daily does not collect any data, so it does not collect 

information from children under 13 (or the applicable age 

in your country). The app is safe for all ages.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes 

will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" 

date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.

8. Your Rights

Because all data is stored locally on your device:

• You can view all your data at any time inside the app

• You can export all your data through the backup feature

• You can delete all your data by clearing the app's data 

in your device settings, or by uninstalling the app
