This Privacy Policy explains how Coin Linker ("the Game", "we", "our") handles your information. We are committed to protecting your privacy. Please read this document carefully.

1. Overview

Coin Linker is a coin-merging puzzle game for mobile. You draw a line through touching coins of the same denomination and they fuse upward, from pennies all the way to a struck gold bar. The Game offers twelve hand-authored boards, an endless run, four powerups, a daily forge, an alloy forge where you strike your own playing coin, a ledger of retired coins, awards and statistics. All of your game progress and preferences are stored on your own device.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit any of the following:

• Personal identification information (name, email address, phone number, etc.)
• Account credentials or authentication tokens
• Device location or GPS coordinates (the Game does not request location permissions)
• Your contacts, photos, media, files, microphone or camera
• The contents of your gameplay — your boards, scores, coins and progress never leave your device

3. Data Stored Locally on Your Device

The following is stored only on your device, using Android's DataStore and SharedPreferences, and is never sent to our servers:

• Board progress: which boards you have cleared, your best score and stars per board.
• Board wear: the accumulated state of each board — the studs you have worn down or sheared off, and the coins lost on that board. This is what makes a board you have played look different from a fresh one.
• Your coin: the alloy you struck, its accumulated wear and integrity, and the coins you have retired to the Ledger.
• Currency and upgrades: your coin balance, powerup counts, and forge upgrades.
• Awards and statistics: which awards you have struck and your lifetime counters.
• Preferences: theme (Light/Dark/System), sound effects, haptic feedback, and reduced motion.

You may reset all of this from the Settings screen, or uninstall the Game to remove it permanently.

4. Advertising ID

The Game declares the Android advertising ID permission (`com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID`). The advertising ID is a resettable, non-permanent identifier provided by Google Play services. Where it is used, it is used solely for install attribution and aggregate analytics — that is, to measure how many people install the Game and which campaign an install came from. It is never linked to personal information, never used to build a profile of you, and never used to serve targeted advertising inside the Game.

You remain in control of it: you can reset the advertising ID, or delete it entirely, at any time under Settings → Privacy → Ads on your Android device.

5. Permissions

The Game declares the following permissions:

• `com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID` — access to the resettable advertising ID, for the install attribution and aggregate analytics described in section 4.
• `android.permission.INTERNET` — network access, used only for that attribution/analytics reporting. No gameplay data, progress, or personal information is transmitted, and the Game is fully playable with no connection at all.
• `android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE` — to check whether a network connection is available before attempting the above.

The Game does NOT request:

• Location (GPS, coarse, or background)
• Camera or microphone
• Contacts
• Phone state or phone identifiers
• SMS or call log access
• Photos, media, or file access

6. Advertising and Purchases

Coin Linker contains no advertising networks and shows no ads of any kind. There are no in-app purchases — every currency in the Game is earned purely by playing.

7. Children's Privacy

The Game does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. Since the Game collects no personal information from any user, it is suitable for all ages.

8. Data Security

Because all game progress and user-generated data is stored locally on your device, the security of that data depends on the protections provided by the Android operating system and your device (screen lock, encryption, and so on). We do not expose that data to external parties.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any change will be reflected in an updated version of this document bundled with a new release of the Game, and the date at the top of this page will be revised accordingly. Continued use of the Game after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
