CacheNib is a find book you keep in your pocket. This page says what happens to the ink you put in it.

What the sheet holds

The app does not ask for your name, email, or a profile. It does not read your advertising ID, device ID, or IP address. There are no banners, no trackers, and no audience reports.

Hides you log — the sit name, type, difficulty, terrain, found or hunting, the date, a field note, and whether the map is day or dusk — stay on the phone that wrote them.

Why the book remembers

Those marks exist so you can open the trail desk tomorrow and see the same sits, grades, and lamp you left.

Who else sees it

Nobody on our side. CacheNib does not upload your sheet. We do not sell, rent, or pass along what you write.

Young hikers

This book is not aimed at children under 13. We do not seek personal information from them.

Updates to this page

If the practice changes, the date above will change too.
