This Privacy Policy explains how BBoom ("the App", "we", "our") handles your information. We are committed to protecting your privacy. Please read this document carefully.

1. Overview

BBoom is a football training companion. It guides you through training sessions with timers, sets and reps, offers standalone drills and timed quizzes across six football topics, and builds a personal player card with a live overall rating, weekly goals, a training diary and an activity heatmap. It also shows live sports headlines. The App is designed with an offline-first approach: all personal data you enter is stored exclusively on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit any of the following:

• Personal identification information (name, email, phone number, etc.)
• Account credentials or authentication tokens
• Device location or GPS coordinates (the App never requests location permission)
• Usage analytics, crash reports, or behavioral telemetry
• The advertising identifier (the App does not request or use it)
• The content of your sessions, quiz results, diary entries, player card or profile photo

3. Data Stored Locally on Your Device

The following data is stored only on your device, and is never sent to any external server:

• Training: completed sessions, drills, sets and reps, and timer settings.
• Quizzes: your quiz scores and results across the six football topics.
• Player card: your six attribute ratings (pace, shooting, passing, dribbling, defending, physicality) and overall rating.
• Progress: weekly goals, streaks, the training diary and the twelve-month activity heatmap.
• Profile: an optional profile photo you choose, and other in-app preferences.

All locally stored data remains under your full control. You may edit or delete your entries, use the reset options in the App to clear everything, or uninstall the App to remove all data.

4. Third-Party Services

The App works fully offline for all of its training, quiz and player-card features. To show live sports headlines and drill imagery, the App fetches content over the internet, including headlines from newsapi.org. These requests retrieve public content only — no user data, identifiers, account data or personal content is sent with them. Your training data, diary, player card and profile photo are never sent off your device.

5. Permissions

The App declares the following permission:

• `android.permission.INTERNET` — used only to fetch public sports headlines and drill imagery. No personal data is transmitted.

Your optional profile photo is selected through the Android system photo picker and stored locally; the App does not request camera, storage, or media-library permissions.

The App does NOT request:

• Location (GPS, coarse, background)
• The advertising identifier (AD_ID)
• Contacts
• Phone state or identifiers
• SMS or call log access
• Camera or microphone access

6. No Advertising or Analytics SDKs

BBoom does not integrate any advertising networks, analytics SDKs (such as Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar), or third-party tracking libraries. There are no ads of any kind within the App.

7. Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. Since the App collects no personal information from any user, it is safe for use by all ages.

8. Data Security

Because all user-generated data is stored locally on your device, the security of that data depends on the security measures provided by the Android operating system and your device (screen lock, encryption, etc.). We do not expose any data to external parties.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in an updated version of this document bundled with a new App release. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised accordingly.
