Privacy Policy for AI Deep Research

AI Deep Research (the “App”) is provided by Intouch Apps, LLC (“we”, “us”, or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information when you use it.

1. Information you provide

The App may process the content you choose to submit for research, including:

- search questions and follow-up questions; - text, URLs, webpage content, PDF text, or image text that you share with the App; and - voice-dictated text when you submit the resulting transcript as a research request.

The App may also keep locally on your device the resulting research answers, cited source links, research history, drafts, collections, and your App settings.

2. How research requests are processed

When you start a research request, the App sends the request directly from your device to the OpenAI Responses API. For a follow-up request, the App may send relevant content from the same research context, such as earlier questions, answers, and cited sources, so that OpenAI can generate a contextual response.

OpenAI processes this information as an independent service provider under its own policies. We do not control OpenAI’s retention or data-use settings for its services. 3. Information stored on your device

The App does not operate a server that stores your research history. Research records, drafts, settings, and related App data are stored locally on your device and, where needed for App features, in Apple App Group storage shared only among the App’s own extensions and companion components.

Your research history remains on your device until you delete it. You can delete a record immediately or move it to Trash. Items in Trash are automatically deleted after 30 days.

4. Speech and shared content

If you use voice input, the App uses Apple speech-recognition technology and prefers on-device recognition where available. We do not receive audio on our own servers. If you submit the recognized text for research, it is handled as a research request under Section 2.

If you share content with the App, the App may extract text on your device to prepare the research prompt you selected. That content is sent to OpenAI only when you submit the corresponding research request.

5. Information we do not collect or sell

The App does not require an account and does not collect your name, email address, password, phone number, or payment-card information. The App does not include advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, cross-app tracking, push notifications, or a remote feature-flag service in the release covered by this Policy.

We do not sell your personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

6. Third-party services

The App uses:

- OpenAI to process research requests and generate answers; and - Apple system services for device-level features such as speech recognition, sharing, widgets, and companion-device communication.

Those providers may process limited technical information necessary to deliver their services, such as network information. Their processing is governed by their respective privacy terms.

7. Your choices

You can choose not to submit a research request or shared content. You can delete research records, drafts, and other local App data using the controls in the App. You can also remove the App and its local data from your device using Apple’s standard device controls.

8. Children’s privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy if the App’s data practices change. We will update the “Last updated” date when we do.
