Privacy Policy for 1click VPN

Privacy Policy for 1click VPN

Effective Date: June 18, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes the data management protocols and privacy frameworks implemented within the 1click VPN browser extension ("we", "our", or "us"). Our engineering structure is built strictly around data minimization, localized client-side execution, and absolute user anonymity.

1. Single Purpose Mandate

In strict compliance with the Chrome Web Store Single Purpose Policy, this extension performs one dedicated technical function: to configure browser proxy parameters to adjust the user's virtual location and restore access to open network resources. No additional background routines, analytical modules, or hidden processes are embedded within the software.

2. Zero-Logs Architecture and Data Exclusion

We maintain a strict zero-knowledge architecture to guarantee complete anonymity for every session:

  • No PII Collection: 1click VPN operates completely without user registration, sign-ups, profile creation, or the submission of any personally identifiable information (PII).
  • No Activity Tracking: We do not track, collect, record, or store your browsing history, web destinations, search logs, IP addresses, or transmitted data payloads.
  • Transient Memory Routing: Network traffic routing through our proxy nodes occurs strictly transiently in real-time within volatile memory. Your data simply passes through the server infrastructure and is never written to persistent disk storage, database clusters, or physical text logs.

3. Required Browser Permissions Justification

The application requests a minimum set of isolated permissions to execute its core routing engine:

  • proxy: Used exclusively to apply and modify proxy server configurations within the browser instance based on the user's manual toggle.
  • storage: Used solely on the client side to retain basic local UI states, such as the active location identifier and the connection switch position. This data remains local to your device.
  • tabs: Used strictly during the post-installation lifecycle event to automatically launch a welcome onboarding page in a new tab. This serves as a user manual and is never used to monitor tab history or ongoing browsing behavior.

4. Third-Party Sharing Prohibitions

We enforce a zero-commercialization data model. We do not sell, rent, lease, trade, or distribute any operational metadata or traffic logs to third-party advertising networks, data brokers, or external analytics agencies. Because our system does not capture or store records of your online activities, no user repositories exist for exposure.

5. Policy Revisions

This document may undergo minor modifications over time to maintain alignment with changing web store compliance regulations. The "Effective Date" at the top indicates when the latest revision was applied.
