Bluetooth Detect. fabriziopala35985@icloud.com

Thank you for choosing Bluetooth Detect. Your privacy is extremely important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, disclose, and protect information when you install or use the Bluetooth Detect app. By downloading, installing, or using Bluetooth Detect, you accept the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Local Device Data: Any personal information you enter into Bluetooth Detect (e.g., notes, settings) is kept strictly on your device and never transmitted to our servers.

Refund-Related Anonymised Data: If you request a refund via Apple for an in-app purchase, we share only anonymised usage metadata with Apple to validate your claim, such as time since app installation, total app-usage duration, purchase transaction amount and consumption status, and a randomly generated anonymous identifier. No names, email addresses, or other personally identifiable details are ever included.

2. Crash Reports & Technical Logs

Automatic Error Reporting: In the event of a crash or error, Bluetooth Detect may automatically send “log data” to our integrated tools (e.g., Firebase Crashlytics). Log data may include your device’s IP address, device model, OS version, app configuration at the time of the error, timestamps, and usage metrics. We analyze this information solely to identify, diagnose, and fix bugs and improve overall app performance.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use stored information on your device to enable core features, personalize settings, and maintain app stability. We review anonymized usage trends (via Firebase Analytics) to understand feature adoption, detect issues, and prioritize enhancements. We share only anonymized, non-personal data with Apple to expedite refund requests.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We partner with select vendors to operate and analyse Bluetooth Detect. These providers include Firebase Analytics (usage analytics) and Firebase Crashlytics (error monitoring). Each vendor may access only the data necessary to perform their service and is contractually prohibited from using your data for any other purpose. Please review their privacy policies for more details.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Bluetooth Detect does not intentionally set cookies. However, embedded third-party SDKs may use small data files to improve service delivery. You may disable or restrict cookies in your device settings, but note that this may limit certain app functionalities.

6. Children’s Privacy

Bluetooth Detect is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a child under 13 has shared information with us, please contact fabriziopala35985@icloud.com so we can promptly delete such data.

7. Data Retention

On-Device Data: We retain your personal data on your device for as long as you keep the app installed.

Anonymized Logs & Analytics: Aggregated or anonymized data collected for crashes and analytics may be retained for up to 24 months to observe long-term trends and ensure app reliability.

8. International Data Transfers

Your data remains primarily on your device. Any anonymized or aggregated data transmitted to our third-party providers may be processed on servers located outside your country. By using Bluetooth Detect, you consent to such transfers under applicable data privacy laws.

9. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access the personal data we hold about you (on-device), correct or update inaccurate information (via device settings), delete data stored within the app (by uninstalling the app or using in-app options), or object to certain processing activities or withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at fabriziopala35985@icloud.com.

10. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act: the right to know the categories of personal information collected and how it’s used or shared; the right to delete personal data collected by the app; and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal data). To submit a request, email fabriziopala35985@icloud.com. We will verify your request and respond within the timeframes required by law.

11. Security Measures

We implement commercially reasonable security safeguards (e.g., encryption, secure storage APIs) to protect data on your device. However, no system is infallible. You acknowledge that while we strive to secure your data, we cannot guarantee absolute protection against unauthorised access or breaches.

Bluetooth Detect may include links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Please review each third party’s privacy policy before providing any data.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. We will post the revised policy here with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of Bluetooth Detect after changes implies acceptance of the updated terms. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
