Privacy Policy

1. Photos and Face Data We Collect

AI Hairstyle Try On & Color accesses only a photo you choose from your photo library or take with the camera. That photo may contain your face, hair, and other visible features. We do not scan your entire photo library or use Face ID, TrueDepth, or ARKit face tracking. Our app does not create identity profiles or store biometric recognition templates, faceprints, or numerical facial landmarks. Perfect Corp may process face geometry in the selected image to provide the requested AI effect; its API policy describes this as potentially including biometric information.

2. Purpose and Consent

We use the selected photo and face data to generate the hairstyle or hair color you request and to display a before-and-after comparison. Before an AI request, the app asks for your agreement to send that photo to Perfect Corp. Selecting a photo alone does not upload it. If you decline, the AI request is not sent. We do not use photos or face data for identity recognition, advertising, tracking, or AI model training, and we do not sell them. Perfect Corp describes its role for API inputs and outputs as a processor acting solely on our instructions to provide the service.

3. Sharing, Third Parties, and Server Location

Yes, the selected photo and its visible face data are shared with Perfect Corp (YouCam API), our AI processing provider. The app uploads the image directly to the upload location supplied by Perfect Corp over HTTPS, or provides the selected sample image URL, together with the requested hairstyle template or hair color. Perfect Corp returns a generated image URL. According to its API privacy policy, its servers are located in the United States. The app does not route photos through a separate application-operated photo storage server. Apple and Qonversion handle subscription transactions and entitlement checks; the app does not send them your photos or face data. Sharing a result with another app occurs only when you choose the Share action and a destination.

4. Server Retention and Deletion of Face Data

Perfect Corp states in its current YouCam API documentation that uploaded photos and generated images are automatically removed after 30 days. Its API privacy policy states that data is generally retained for 30 days after a service session, with exceptions for legal, compliance, and other purposes specified in that policy. Closing our app or deleting a local photo does not immediately delete the provider copy. A generated-image download URL may expire after 2 hours; URL expiry is not deletion of the underlying photo or face data. For an earlier deletion request, contact us at ojixzzz@gmail.com. We will coordinate with Perfect Corp, subject to applicable retention obligations, and will not promise immediate server deletion that the app cannot perform.

5. Device Storage, Saved Photos, and Local Deletion

Selected photos, preview images, and temporary files used for sharing may be stored in the app container or image cache on your device. These temporary files may remain until iOS clears them or the app is deleted; no fixed local deletion deadline is promised. The app does not maintain a permanent in-app photo history. Hairstyle template metadata is cached using Hive, and preferences, edit credits, and subscription state use local app storage. We do not claim these stores use app-level encryption. Photos you explicitly save to the Photos library remain there until you delete them using Photos. Deleting the app removes its local container, but does not delete photos you saved to Photos, copies shared with another app, or images still within the provider retention period.

6. Subscription and Technical Data

Apple processes payments. Qonversion verifies subscription status and may process purchase records, app/device information, and identifiers needed to deliver its service. We do not collect payment card details. Network providers may receive your IP address and request information when delivering the AI or subscription service. This app does not send your selected photos to an advertising service.

7. Your Choices and Privacy Requests

You can decline AI photo processing, stop using the AI features, manage camera and Photos access in iOS Settings, delete saved photos from Photos, and delete the app to remove its local app data. For access or deletion requests concerning a processed photo, send email and include the approximate processing date and time so we can investigate with the provider. You do not need to attach your face photo to the initial request. Revoking permission or withdrawing consent prevents future processing but does not automatically erase an existing provider copy.
