This Privacy Policy describes how FaceSwap Pro (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects your information when you use our iOS application FaceSwap Pro (the “App”), including any related services and features (collectively, the “Service”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Personal Information

Email Address: You may provide your email address when you contact us for support or subscribe to our newsletter.
Device Identifier: We collect a random, unique identifier tied to your device (“Identifier For Advertisers” or “IDFA”) for analytics and ad attribution purposes.

1.2 Face Data & Images

Face Images: When you use our face-swap feature, you grant the App access to the photos you select. All image processing is performed locally on your device; we do not upload or store your images or any biometric face data on our servers unless you explicitly choose to back them up to cloud storage.

1.3 Usage Data

Analytics: We automatically collect usage data (e.g. number of sessions, features used, crashes) via third-party analytics providers (such as Firebase or Mixpanel) to help us improve the App. This data is anonymous and cannot be used to identify you personally.

1.4 Payment & Subscription Data

We do not collect or store your payment information. All subscription purchases are handled securely through Apple’s in-app purchase system. Apple may provide us with confirmation of the purchase and subscription status.

2. How We Use Your Information

To Provide and Improve the Service: Process face-swap requests, troubleshoot errors, analyze usage, and optimize performance.
To Manage Subscriptions: Verify subscription status and remind you of renewals.
To Communicate: Respond to your inquiries, send you updates, newsletters (if you opt in), and inform you of changes to this Privacy Policy.
For Security: Monitor and prevent fraud, abuse, and other unauthorized activities.

3. Subscription & Billing

Subscription Plans: We offer auto-renewable subscription plans (e.g. monthly, yearly).
Management: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time via your Apple ID account settings. Consult Apple’s support pages for detailed instructions.
Auto-Renewal: Unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends, your subscription will automatically renew.
Refunds: All payment, billing, and refund issues are handled by Apple. For refund requests, please contact Apple Support directly.

Refund-Related Data Sharing

We may share limited anonymized information with Apple when a user requests a refund for an in-app purchase. This includes (but is not limited to) time since installation, usage duration, an anonymous account identifier, purchase consumption details, and transaction amounts, solely for the purpose of processing and verifying refund requests. No personally identifiable information is shared.

We will not sell, rent, or share your personal or face data with third parties, except in the following limited circumstances:

Service Providers: We may share anonymous usage data with analytics and performance-monitoring providers.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or governmental request.
Business Transfers: If we merge with, or are acquired by, another company, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction (subject to any applicable confidentiality obligations).

4.1 Face Data Collection & Use

“When you request a face-swap, we temporarily collect your facial photograph and derive alignment landmarks on your device. We send only the raw RGB image to our trusted image-enhancement API, which processes the image in memory and automatically deletes it within two minutes. We do not store or share any biometric templates or facial features beyond what is necessary for the swap function. All temporary caches are cleared upon completing or exiting the face-swap operation.”

5. Your Rights & Choices

Access & Correction: You may request access to or correction of your personal information by emailing us (see Section 10).
Analytics Opt-Out: You may opt out of analytics tracking by enabling Limit Ad Tracking on your device.
Do Not Track: Our App does not respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals.

5.1 California Residents (CCPA)

Right to Know: Request to know what categories of personal information we collect and disclose.
Right to Delete: Request deletion of your personal information (subject to certain exceptions).

Lawful Basis: We process your data based on your consent and/or our legitimate interest to operate the App.
Rights: Access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction of processing, and objection to processing.

6. Data Retention

Face Images & Biometric Data: No server-side retention. All images remain on your device unless you choose to back them up externally.
Analytics Data: Retained in aggregated, anonymized form for up to 24 months.
Subscription Records: We retain confirmation of your subscription status for as long as your account is active and thereafter as required for legal compliance.

7. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children’s Privacy

Our App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently done so, please contact us and we will delete such information immediately.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
