1. Introduction
KyaloGames ("we", "us", or "our") built the OlimpZone app as a free application. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app handles, how it is used, and the choices you have. We have written it to reflect exactly how the app works today.
By using OlimpZone, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
2. Summary
- We do not require you to create an account or sign in.
- We do not collect, sell, or share your personal information for advertising.
- We do not use any advertising or analytics SDKs.
- The game data and preferences you set (nickname, avatar, game settings, and progress) are stored only on your device and are never uploaded to us or anyone else.
- The only information that leaves your device is anonymous crash and diagnostic data, which is sent to Firebase Crashlytics (a Google service) so we can find and fix stability problems.
3. Information Stored Only on Your Device
The app lets you personalize your gaming experience. The following data is saved on your device using Android's local storage (Jetpack DataStore and app-private files) and is never transmitted off your device:
- Nickname / player name – the name you choose for your in-game profile.
- Photo – an image you optionally select from your gallery (via the Android Photo Picker) or capture with your camera to represent your player profile.
- Game settings – your preferred game configurations, such as sound and notification preferences.
- Game progress – your scores, achievements, and other gameplay-related data that track your in-game activity.
Because this information never leaves your device, we cannot access it. Uninstalling the app removes it, and you can clear it at any time from within the app or through your device's app storage settings.
4. Information We Collect (Crash & Diagnostics)
To keep the app stable, we use Firebase Crashlytics, a crash-reporting service provided by Google. When the app crashes or encounters certain errors, Crashlytics automatically collects diagnostic information, which may include:
- Crash logs and stack traces
- Device information (e.g., device model, operating system version)
- App version and state at the time of the crash
- A random, Crashlytics-generated installation identifier
This data is used solely to diagnose crashes and improve the reliability of the app. It is not used to identify you personally, and it is not used for advertising. Crashlytics data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections.
For more information, see:
- Google's Privacy Policy
- Firebase Crashlytics data collection documentation
5. Gaming Content and Data
The app provides interactive gaming content, which may include puzzles, challenges, or other game features. When the app updates or checks for content, it may send basic, non-personal request data. No personal information about you is sent to any third-party service.
The app does not share your gameplay activity, scores, or preferences with any external servers or services.
6. Permissions the App Uses
- Internet / Network state – to check for game updates, load new content, and send crash reports.
- Camera – The photo is stored locally on your device. The app does not access the camera in the background or at any other time.
Selecting a photo from your gallery uses the Android Photo Picker, which does not require any storage permission and only shares the single image you pick.
7. Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect:
- Your name, email address, phone number, or precise location
- Advertising identifiers
- Analytics or tracking data
- Gameplay history or performance data
- We do not sell or rent any data to third parties
8. Data Retention and Deletion
- On-device game data (nickname, avatar, settings, progress) remains until you delete it or uninstall the app.
- Crash and diagnostic data collected by Firebase Crashlytics is retained by Google according to its policies (Crashlytics automatically deletes crash reports after 90 days).
You may request deletion of diagnostic data associated with your device by emailing us at omarihkelvin@gmail.com. Because this data is anonymous, please include any details that can help us locate the relevant reports.
9. Children's Privacy
The app is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information that requires attention, please contact us and we will address it.
10. Security
We rely on Android's app sandboxing to protect the data stored on your device and on encrypted (HTTPS) connections for any data transmitted from the app. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
