This Privacy Policy explains how the Hydra mobile application (“Hydra”, the “App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) accesses, uses, stores, processes, and shares information.

Hydra is a water, caffeine, drink, energy, hydration goal, reminder, statistics, streak, and achievement tracking application.

Hydra does not require account registration to use its core features.

1. Information You Enter in Hydra

Hydra allows you to enter and manage information including:

• water intake;
• coffee intake;
• tea intake;
• energy drink intake;
• drink volume;
• caffeine amount;
• energy level;
• daily hydration goal;
• reminder settings;
• quiet hours;
• hydration history;
• streak and achievement progress;
• language, theme, and appearance preferences.

This information is primarily stored locally on your device.

The Developer does not normally receive the contents of your hydration and caffeine journal.

Hydra does not require you to provide your name, telephone number, email address, postal address, password, or payment card information in order to use the App.

2. Local Data Storage

Your hydration records, caffeine records, energy entries, goals, settings, statistics, streaks, and achievement progress are stored locally on your device.

You can delete locally stored information by:

• deleting applicable entries in Hydra where such functionality is available;
• clearing Hydra's application data through Android settings;
• uninstalling the App.

Android, your device manufacturer, or an application store may provide separate backup or restore functionality that is outside the Developer's control.

Hydra currently does not provide its own user account or cloud storage service for your hydration history.

3. Privacy Choices on First Launch

When Hydra is launched for the first time, the App provides access to this Privacy Policy and allows you to make separate choices regarding:

• application analytics through MyTracker;
• personalized advertising/data processing for advertising purposes.

These choices are independent.

You can use Hydra if you decline MyTracker analytics.

You can also use Hydra if you decline personalized advertising.

Declining personalized advertising does not automatically activate an advertising-free version of Hydra.

Your selected privacy preferences are stored locally on your device and are applied when the App starts.

Clearing Hydra's application data or reinstalling the App may reset these locally stored choices.

4. Optional Analytics — MyTracker

Hydra uses the MyTracker SDK for optional application analytics.

MyTracker analytics are not required for Hydra's core hydration tracking functionality.

If you enable analytics, Hydra may initialize MyTracker and process analytics information including:

• application launches;
• screens or sections opened;
• use of App features;
• selected application events;
• application version;
• operating system information;
• device and technical information;
• language and technical environment information;
• device or resettable identifiers where available and permitted;
• diagnostic and performance-related information.

Hydra may send custom events that indicate how specific functions are used.

Examples may include actions such as:

• opening the App;
• opening a screen;
• adding a drink;
• recording an energy level;
• opening history or daily statistics;
• using sharing functionality;
• changing application settings;
• interacting with reminders;
• interacting with rating prompts.

If you decline MyTracker analytics, Hydra does not intentionally initialize MyTracker for Hydra product analytics and does not intentionally send Hydra custom analytics events through MyTracker.

The contents of your personal hydration journal are not intended to be transmitted to MyTracker as a personal hydration profile.

For example, the Developer does not intentionally send your complete private hydration history to MyTracker for advertising profiling.

Information processed by MyTracker is also subject to the applicable policies and terms of the MyTracker service provider.

5. Advertising — Yandex Mobile Ads

Hydra is a free application supported by advertising.

Hydra uses Yandex Mobile Ads to display and measure advertisements.

Depending on your device, region, privacy choices, applicable law, permissions, and advertising SDK configuration, advertising services may process technical information including:

• advertising or device identifiers where available and permitted;
• application information;
• technical device information;
• information necessary to request and display advertising;
• advertising impressions;
• advertising interactions;
• information used to measure advertising performance.

Hydra does not intentionally provide your locally stored water intake history, caffeine journal, energy records, or complete hydration history to Yandex Mobile Ads for advertising purposes.

Hydra does not request precise GPS location for its core hydration or advertising functionality.

6. Personalized and Non-Personalized Advertising

Hydra allows you to choose whether you consent to personalized advertising/data processing for advertising purposes.

If you consent, Hydra may provide the applicable consent value to the advertising SDK so that advertising may be processed according to your choice, applicable law, device settings, and the advertising provider's policies.

If you decline personalized advertising, Hydra passes the applicable non-consent choice to the advertising SDK.

Hydra may continue to display contextual or non-personalized advertising where such advertising is supported by the advertising provider and permitted by applicable law.

Declining personalized advertising does not mean that Hydra becomes an advertising-free application.

In some regions, the availability and operation of advertising after consent is declined may depend on legal requirements and the capabilities of the advertising provider.

Advertising identifiers may also be controlled, reset, restricted, or deleted through Android or device privacy settings where supported.

7. Yandex Advertising Components

Yandex Mobile Ads may use technical components and services operated by Yandex that are necessary for advertising delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and SDK operation.

Hydra does not use such advertising components as a substitute for the optional MyTracker product analytics described above.

Processing performed by Yandex advertising technologies is governed by Yandex's applicable privacy policies and terms.

8. Banner Advertising

Hydra may display banner advertisements within the App.

Banner advertisements are designed not to block access to the main hydration tracking functions.

A banner may provide a visible close control.

If you close a banner using this control, Hydra may temporarily hide the banner for a short period before advertising becomes available again.

This temporary state is an interface convenience and does not represent the purchase or activation of a permanent advertising-free version.

9. Optional Rewarded Advertising

Hydra may offer an optional rewarded advertisement.

Watching a rewarded advertisement is voluntary.

For example, Hydra may offer:

Watch one rewarded video and hide banner advertisements until the end of the current day.

The advertising benefit is granted only after the advertising SDK confirms that the reward has been earned.

If the rewarded advertisement is not completed or the advertising SDK does not confirm the reward, the advertising benefit may not be granted.

After the reward is earned, Hydra may store locally on your device the time until which banner advertisements should remain hidden.

This local information is used only to determine whether the rewarded advertising benefit is currently active.

The advertising benefit normally expires at the end of the applicable local day, after which banner advertising may be displayed again.

10. Full-Screen Advertising

The availability and frequency of full-screen advertising may differ depending on the application store or distribution version of Hydra.

Certain store-specific versions may disable automatic full-screen advertising in order to comply with the applicable application store requirements and user-experience standards.

Rewarded advertising, where available, is initiated voluntarily by the user.

11. Notifications and Water Reminders

Hydra can send notifications such as:

• water reminders;
• hydration reminders;
• daily summaries;
• reminders to view daily statistics.

The App may request Android notification permission where required.

Hydra may use Android scheduling mechanisms to deliver reminders when the App is not currently open.

You can configure reminder intervals and quiet hours or disable notifications through Hydra or Android system settings.

12. Home Screen Widget

Hydra provides an optional home screen widget.

The widget may:

• display hydration progress;
• display information stored by Hydra on your device;
• allow you to quickly record drinks.

Widget information is obtained from Hydra's locally stored application data.

13. Sharing Your Statistics

Hydra allows you to voluntarily share daily statistics with other people.

Nothing is shared through this feature unless you initiate the sharing action.

When you choose to share statistics, Hydra may prepare information such as:

• selected date;
• recorded water intake;
• daily hydration goal;
• recorded caffeine intake;
• a reference to Hydra;
• an application-store download link.

Hydra then opens the Android system sharing interface.

You decide which application or recipient receives the shared information.

If you share information using a messenger, email service, social network, or another third-party application, that third party processes the information according to its own privacy policy.

The Developer does not control how third parties use information after you voluntarily share it with them.

14. Application Stores and Installation Source

Hydra may be distributed through application stores including:

• Google Play;
• RuStore;
• HUAWEI AppGallery;
• Xiaomi GetApps.

Hydra may determine its store or installation channel in order to:

• open the appropriate store page;
• open the appropriate rating page;
• include the appropriate download link when statistics are shared;
• understand the distribution channel.

Each application store may independently collect and process information according to its own privacy policy and terms.

15. Rating Requests

Hydra may occasionally display a request asking you to rate the App.

Hydra may locally store information such as:

• whether a rating request has already been displayed;
• whether you selected “Later”;
• whether you selected “Rate”;
• when the next rating request may be displayed.

This information is used to prevent excessive rating prompts.

If you choose to rate Hydra, the App may open the application store from which your version of Hydra was installed.

16. Permissions and System Capabilities

Depending on your Android version and device, Hydra may use permissions or system capabilities including:

Internet access

Used for advertising, permitted analytics, and other network functionality provided by integrated services.

Notifications

Used to deliver hydration reminders and daily summaries.

Boot and scheduling functionality

May be used to restore scheduled reminders after a device restart or application update.

Hydra does not require access to your contacts, SMS messages, call history, microphone, camera, or precise GPS location for its core hydration tracking functionality.

17. Information Hydra Does Not Intentionally Request for Core Use

Hydra does not require you to provide:

• full name;
• postal address;
• personal telephone number;
• personal email account;
• account password;
• payment card details;
• contact list;
• SMS or MMS messages;
• call history;
• photos or videos;
• microphone recordings;
• precise GPS location;
• identity documents.

18. Hydration Information and Health Data

Hydra is a lifestyle and self-tracking application.

Information about water intake, caffeine, drinks, and energy that you enter in Hydra is stored locally for the App's hydration tracking functionality.

The Developer does not intentionally transmit your complete locally stored hydration journal to advertising providers as health information.

Hydra is not intended to create a medical record or provide medical diagnosis.

19. Third-Party Services

Hydra uses third-party services that may process certain information independently.

MyTracker

Used for optional application analytics when analytics are enabled by the user.

Yandex Mobile Ads

Used for advertising delivery, rewarded advertising, and advertising measurement.

Application stores may also independently process information when you download, update, rate, or otherwise interact with Hydra through their services.

Third-party services operate according to their own privacy policies, data-retention rules, legal obligations, and security practices.

20. Sharing Information With Third Parties

The Developer does not sell your locally stored Hydra hydration journal.

Technical or usage information may be processed by third-party service providers where necessary for the analytics and advertising services described in this Privacy Policy.

Hydra does not intentionally disclose your complete personal hydration history to advertisers.

Information may also be disclosed where required by applicable law, valid legal process, regulation, or governmental request.

21. International and Cross-Border Processing

Third-party analytics and advertising providers may process information on infrastructure located outside your country or region of residence.

Application stores may also process information internationally.

Such processing is governed by the applicable service provider's privacy terms, contractual safeguards, and applicable law.

22. Data Retention

Hydration records and Hydra settings stored locally remain on your device until they are deleted, application data is cleared, or the App is uninstalled, subject to operating-system backup and restore behavior.

Privacy preferences and rewarded-advertising status may also be stored locally.

Information transmitted to third-party analytics or advertising services may be retained according to those providers' own retention policies.

23. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to minimize the information processed by Hydra and to keep core hydration records locally on your device.

Information processed by third-party services is protected according to the security practices of the applicable provider.

No electronic storage or network transmission system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

24. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on the laws applicable to you, you may have rights including:

• requesting information about personal data processing;
• requesting access to applicable personal data;
• requesting correction;
• requesting deletion;
• requesting restriction of certain processing;
• objecting to certain processing;
• withdrawing consent where processing relies on consent;
• exercising other rights provided by applicable law.

For information stored only locally in Hydra, you can control the information through the App and Android system settings.

You can also clear Hydra's application data or uninstall the App.

25. Withdrawal or Change of Consent

Where processing depends on your consent, you may withdraw that consent.

Hydra stores its application-level privacy choices locally.

Depending on the version of the App, resetting application data or reinstalling Hydra may cause the privacy choices to be requested again.

You may also manage certain advertising and privacy settings through Android or your device manufacturer's system settings.

Withdrawal of consent for optional MyTracker analytics does not remove access to Hydra's core functionality.

Declining personalized advertising does not itself activate an advertising-free version of Hydra.

26. Children's Privacy

Hydra is not specifically designed or directed toward children under the age of 13.

Hydra does not require children or other users to create an account or submit identifying personal information in order to use its core hydration tracking functions.

If the law of a particular country or region establishes a higher age threshold for independent consent to personal data processing, the applicable local requirement applies.

27. Medical Disclaimer

Hydra is a hydration and lifestyle tracking application.

Hydra is intended for general informational and self-tracking purposes only.

It is not intended to:

• diagnose a disease or medical condition;
• provide medical treatment;
• replace professional medical advice;
• prescribe a specific fluid or caffeine intake for medical purposes.

Hydration and caffeine requirements may vary depending on age, health, medication, activity, climate, pregnancy, and other factors.

If you have a health condition or concerns about appropriate fluid or caffeine intake, consult a qualified healthcare professional.

28. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when:

• Hydra features change;
• advertising or analytics technologies change;
• third-party SDKs change;
• application-store requirements change;
• applicable laws or regulations change;
• our information-processing practices change.

The latest version will include an updated effective date.
