App name: Mail Video Compressor

Mail Video Compressor is a local video compression utility. It helps users select a video, compress it on the device, and then save, preview, or share the compressed MP4 through Android system features.

Data Access

The app accesses only the video file that the user explicitly selects through Android Photo Picker. It does not request broad photo, video, or file permissions.

The app may retain read access to that selected video URI so compression can continue after screen rotation or a short interruption. This retained access is limited to the selected file and is released when the user replaces or resets the selection where possible, or when the app is uninstalled.

Data Collection And Sharing

The app does not upload, collect, sell, or share user videos or personal data. Selected videos are read on the device only for local compression. Compressed results are stored in the app cache and are shared with another app only when the user chooses a share, save, or preview action.

Retention And Deletion

Compressed files are stored in app cache. Users can delete a compressed result from inside the app. Android may also clear cached files automatically, and uninstalling the app removes cached data and any retained selected-file access grants.

Accounts And Ads

The app does not provide user accounts, does not use advertising identifiers, and does not include advertising or analytics SDKs.

Disclosure Copy

Mail Video Compressor does not upload, collect, sell, or share user videos. A user-selected video is read locally and compressed locally. The app may retain read access to that selected video URI so the workflow survives screen rotation or a short app interruption, but it does not receive access to the user's full photo or video library. The compressed result is kept in app cache until the user saves, shares, previews, deletes it, or Android clears cached data.
