Storm VPN does not process user data.

The extension only uses local browser storage (chrome.storage) to store:

  • Connection status (connected / disconnected)
  • Selected server preference

This data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted anywhere.

Storm VPN uses only the following permissions:

  • proxy — to enable and disable proxy connection in the browser
  • storage — to save user preferences locally

These permissions are used solely for the core functionality of the extension.

Storm VPN does NOT use:

  • Advertising networks
  • External APIs

The extension does not send any data to external servers.

6. User Control

Users have full control over the extension:

  • You can enable or disable the proxy at any time
  • You can remove the extension at any time
  • No background activity occurs without user interaction

Storm VPN does not execute remote code and does not load external scripts.

All functionality is contained within the extension package.
