• No Account Required: We do not require you to create an account, log in, or provide personal details such as your name, email address, or phone number to use the core features of the app.
• Local Storage: Data related to your app usage, such as your Watchlist, preferences (like your selected region or language), and app settings, are stored locally on your device using Apple's standard storage mechanisms (e.g., UserDefaults). We do not transmit or store this personal data on external servers.

2. Third-Party Services

While we do not collect personal data directly, our app utilizes third-party services that may collect information to provide their respective functionalities:

A. The Movie Database (TMDB)

• MovieJoy App uses the TMDB API to fetch movie and TV show data, including images, descriptions, and ratings.
• By using the app, your device communicates directly with TMDB servers. TMDB may collect standard network information, such as IP addresses. Please review the TMDB Privacy Policy for more information on their data practices.
• Please note: This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.

B. Google AdMob (Advertising)

• Our app uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob uses advertising identifiers (such as Apple’s IDFA) and cookies to serve personalized ads based on your interests and past interactions.
• AdMob may collect and use data such as IP address, device type, network information, and interaction data to measure ad performance.
• You can manage personalized advertising preferences through your device settings (Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking).

3. Apple App Analytics

We may receive anonymized, aggregated analytics data from Apple (such as crash reports and app usage statistics) if you have opted-in to share this information with developers through your iOS device settings. MovieJoy App is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.
