Device Permissions
To provide core functionality, the App requests certain device permissions. We request Bluetooth permission to scan for and identify nearby Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) devices. This scanning occurs locally on your device, and the discovered device information (such as device names, signal strength, and identifiers) is displayed to you but is not transmitted to our servers or any third parties. We request Microphone permission to measure sound levels in decibels (dB). Audio data is processed in real-time on your device for measurement purposes only and is not recorded, stored, or transmitted anywhere.
Local Data Storage
The App may store certain preferences and settings locally on your device to enhance your user experience. This may include your search history of discovered BLE devices, favorite devices you have marked, measurement history for dB levels, and app settings and preferences. All this data remains on your device and is never transmitted to our servers. You can clear this data at any time by deleting the App or using the in-app data management features.
Subscription and Payment Information
The App offers optional paid subscriptions managed through Adapty and Apple App Store. When you purchase a subscription, payment processing and subscription management are handled entirely by Apple. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment card information or financial data. Adapty may collect limited data necessary for subscription management, such as your device identifier, subscription status, and purchase events. This data is used solely to provide and manage your subscription and is subject to Adapty's Privacy Policy.
Third-Party Services
The App integrates certain third-party services to provide functionality. Adapty is used for subscription and payment management. Information collected by Adapty is subject to their privacy policy, which can be found at https://adapty.io/privacy. We may use analytics services to understand app usage and improve our services. These services may collect anonymized usage data such as feature usage patterns, app crashes, and performance metrics. No personally identifiable information is included in this data.
Children's Privacy
Search lost multitool does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. The App is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided information to us, please contact us, and we will promptly delete such information.
Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information processed by the App. Since no personal data is transmitted to our servers, the primary responsibility for data security lies with you as the device owner. You have complete control over the data stored locally on your device. You can delete all app data by uninstalling the App from your device. You can manage Bluetooth and Microphone permissions through your device settings at any time. You can manage or cancel your subscription through your App Store or Google Play account settings. Since we do not collect personal information, there is no personal data for us to access, modify, or delete from our systems.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy.
