This Privacy Policy explains how the lstfy app (“we”, “us”, the “App”) handles your information. By using the App you agree to this policy. The App is intended for users aged 17 and older.

1. Who we are

The App is an AI companion that lets you chat with virtual AI characters. The characters and their replies are generated by artificial intelligence and are fictional.

2. What we collect

• Chat messages. The text you send in chats is transmitted to our servers and to our AI provider in order to generate a reply. We do not sell your messages.
• Local app data. Your chat history and preferences are stored locally on your device and are not tied to any account.
• Basic technical data. Standard request information (such as IP address and app version) may be processed by our hosting to deliver content and keep the service secure.

The App does not require an account to browse or chat, and we do not ask for your name, email, contacts, photos, or location.

3. How we use it

Solely to provide and improve the App: generate AI replies, show content, maintain reliability and security, and comply with the law.

4. AI provider

To generate replies we send your chat text to a third-party large-language-model provider (OpenRouter / OpenAI). They process it only to return a response.

5. Data retention

Chat history lives on your device; deleting the App (or clearing a chat in the App) removes it. Messages processed to generate replies are not retained for advertising or profiling.

6. Children

The App is not intended for anyone under 17. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

7. Your choices

You can clear individual chats in the App at any time, or delete the App to remove all local data. You may report objectionable AI content from within a chat.

8. Changes

We may update this policy; the “Last updated” date will change accordingly.
