Privacy Policy — Timez

Last updated: 7 May 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how the operator of the Timez mobile application (“Timez”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, shares, retains, and protects information when you use the application. By using Timez, you acknowledge that you have read this notice. If you do not agree, please discontinue use.

1. Contact

Privacy questions, data-protection requests, and account or data deletion requests may be submitted using the contact details shown inside Timez under Support / Contact (for example email or telephone where provided).

For deletion requests linked from Google Play, follow the instructions at https://timezweb.web.app/

If those instructions are unclear, send an email using the Support address shown in Timez with the subject line “Account and data deletion” and include the phone number you use to sign in.

2. Summary

Timez lets you discover businesses, manage appointments and related activity and, where enabled, marketplace carts and orders. Processing combines information you provide with limited technical information and optional location information to operate and secure those features.

3. Information we collect

Account and verification. Phone number used for SMS-based sign-in, authentication tokens tied to your account, and optional profile fields you choose to add (for example name and email).

Booking and transactional information. Reservations and related metadata such as selected business or professional, scheduled date and time, notes you submit, status or fulfilment messages visible in Timez, and the payment preference you indicate when offered (for example payment in person when card checkout is unavailable or not chosen).

Orders and marketplace activity. Cart contents, quantities, prices, order status, product identifiers where applicable, and order history shown in the App.

Location. If you grant permission or choose a place or area through map or place search, we may process approximate and precise location to rank results, compute distances, and personalise discovery. A summary of a chosen place may be stored on your device for convenience.

Technical and security information. Device type, operating system, application version, diagnostic events needed for reliability, identifiers required for our infrastructure (for example a Firebase user identifier), timestamps, and records used to detect abuse or comply with law.

We do not use third-party advertising SDKs in Timez to target ads as described in this Policy.

4. Purposes of processing

We process information to provide and improve Timez, authenticate users, deliver discovery, booking, and order features, secure the service, communicate service-related messages when appropriate, comply with legal obligations, and assert or defend legal claims.

5. Legal bases (where applicable)

Depending on your region, we may rely on performance of a contract (providing the service you request), legitimate interests (security, proportionate product improvement, fraud prevention), and legal obligation. Where consent is required for specific processing, we will request it when the law requires.

6. Sharing and processors

We use service providers that process data on our instructions, including Google Firebase / Google Cloud for authentication, databases, storage, and related infrastructure, and Google Maps / Google Places technology when you use search or mapping features. Those providers process data under their own terms and privacy documentation as well as our arrangements with them.

We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of users, the public, or us.

We do not sell personal information to unrelated data brokers in the conventional sense of selling customer lists for money.

7. International transfers

Our service providers may process information in multiple countries. Where transfers require safeguards, we rely on mechanisms recognised by applicable law when available through the relevant provider arrangements.

8. Retention

We retain information for as long as your account remains active, as needed to provide features you use, to meet legal, tax, accounting, or regulatory requirements, to resolve disputes, and to maintain backups and security controls. After a verified deletion request, we delete or anonymise personal data except where limited retention is legally required.

9. Security

We implement technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including encryption in transit for communications between Timez and our servers operated through mainstream cloud infrastructure. No online service is perfectly secure; you should maintain control of your device and SMS inbox.

10. Your rights

Depending on jurisdiction, you may have rights of access, rectification, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, and—withdrawing consent where consent was the lawful basis. Contact us via the paths in Section 1. Reasonable identity verification may be required before we act.

11. Age

Timez is intended for users who are 16 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone younger. If we learn that we have collected such information, we delete it promptly where the law permits. Parents or guardians may contact us via Section 1.

12. Links to third parties

When you tap links inside Timez (for example social profiles or websites published by businesses), your device may open the system web browser or a native app belonging to someone else. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies; we do not control them.

13. Changes

We may revise this Privacy Policy periodically. When we update it, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top. Material changes may be highlighted inside Timez or through other proportionate notices. Continuing to use Timez after posting constitutes acceptance unless applicable law requires a different acceptance mechanism.
