Privacy Policy — The Number Cruncher
Number CruncherLast updated 21 August 2026
This notice explains what The Number Cruncher (the app) does with information on Android. It is a lottery results and statistics tool. It does not sell tickets, take bets, or pay prizes.
Who we are
The app is provided by Number Cruncher, the developer listed on the Google Play store listing for The Number Cruncher. We do not run user accounts or a membership service.
What the app stores on your device
- Lottery numbers and optional set names that you choose to save
- The date you saved those numbers
- Cached public draw results, so the app can work without fetching everything again
- A small local record of match alerts already shown, so the same alert is not repeated
That information stays on your phone. We do not operate a server that receives your saved numbers, name, email address, or payment details. The app does not ask you to create an account.
Internet use
The app needs an internet connection to download publicly available lottery draw results from beatlottery.co.uk. Those requests go to that website so the app can show history, frequency, and pattern notes. We do not send your saved numbers with those requests.
beatlottery.co.uk is an independent website. Its own privacy policy applies to visits and requests made to that site.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, the app can show a local alert on your device when a saved line has two or more matching numbers against the most recent draw it has loaded. Those alerts are created on the device. We do not run a separate push messaging service that holds your personal details.
You can refuse or later turn off notification permission in Android settings.
Permissions
- Internet — to fetch public draw results
- Notifications — optional match alerts, only if you allow them
What we do not do
- We do not sell your information
- We do not show advertising in the app
- We do not add a separate analytics or tracking SDK of our own
- We do not use your data to offer gambling, betting, or ticket purchases
Google Play, Android, and the device manufacturer may still process technical information in the usual way for installing and running apps (for example crash reports you choose to send to Google). That is outside this app’s own storage.
Children
The app is not directed at children. It is intended for adults who want lottery results and historical statistics.
How long information is kept
Saved numbers and cached results remain on the device until you remove them in the app, clear the app’s storage, or uninstall the app.
Your choices
- Edit or remove saved number sets in the app
- Turn off notifications in Android settings
- Delete all app data by clearing storage or uninstalling
Because we do not hold your saved numbers on a server, there is no online account to download or erase with us. Uninstalling the app removes the local copy.
