This policy covers every watch face for Wear OS that Bicher09 publishes on Google Play under the name Tempus Arcanum, now and in future.

In short: our watch faces collect nothing. They contain no code, request no permissions and cannot send anything off your watch.

How the watch faces work

Our watch faces are made in Watch Face Format, a design format from Google: each one only describes the dial (its pictures, text and animations), and your watch's own system software draws it. They contain no program code, no advertising, no analytics and no trackers, and they request no Android permissions, internet access included.

What the watch faces show

To draw the dial, your watch's system software passes the watch face information that is already on your watch:

• the time, the date and your 12- or 24-hour setting;
• the battery level;
• your step count and, on some faces, your daily step goal;
• the number of unread notifications: the count only, never their content;
• on some faces, the weather and the moon's phase, from your watch's own services;
• on some faces, the watch's tilt, which moves the scene slightly behind the glass.

This information is used only to draw the dial on your watch while it is shown. The watch face does not store it, and nothing is sent to us or to anyone else.

Your settings and your photo

The choices you make in the watch face editor (colors, 12- or 24-hour time, what each complication shows) are kept on your watch by Wear OS. One face can show a photo of your own: you choose it in your phone's watch app, and Wear OS copies a square crop of it to the watch, where it stays. We never see it.

Complications and other apps

Complications show information from apps and services you choose; by default, your watch's own steps, notifications and battery. Those apps handle their information under their own privacy policies. Tapping parts of the dial can open apps on your watch, such as the battery settings or the calendar.

Google Play

You buy and install the watch faces through Google Play. Google handles your payment and account information under the Google Privacy Policy. Google Play gives developers limited order information, which we use only for accounting, taxes and refunds. It also gives developers aggregated statistics, such as the number of installs, and, if you allow your device to share usage and diagnostics data, anonymous crash reports. None of it identifies you.

Children

The watch faces are not directed at children under 13, and they collect no information from anyone.

Security and retention

The watch faces keep no information and send none, so we hold no data about you. If you email us, your message stays in our mailbox, under the mail provider's protection, only as long as we need it to reply.
