Privacy Policy — See Your Disk

Last updated: 30 September 2026

See Your Disk does not collect, store, transmit or share any personal data.

- The app reads file names and sizes in the folders you allow it to access (your Home folder, Applications and system folders it can read) in order to draw the disk map. This happens only on your Mac.

- Nothing about your files, their names or their sizes ever leaves your Mac. The app has no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no accounts.

- Files are removed only when you confirm it. Items that are not clearly safe are moved to the Trash.

- Purchases (monthly subscription or lifetime unlock) are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your payment details. Apple's own privacy policy applies to the purchase.

- The app keeps a small number of preferences on your Mac (for example that the introduction was shown, your sound setting and a usage counter). They never leave your Mac.
