1. WHO WE ARE

This Privacy Policy explains how Intouch Apps, LLC ("we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use Meow Speak: Cat Translator (the "App").

2. INFORMATION YOU CHOOSE TO PROVIDE OR USE

The App can be used without creating an account. Depending on the features you use, the App may process:

• Cat audio recordings that you choose to record for Cat Audio Translation.
• Cat photos that you choose to capture or select for Mood Scan or Breed ID.
• Cat profile information that you enter, such as a cat's name, gender, age, avatar, and active-cat selection.
• Translation, mood, and breed results, timestamps, and recordings that you choose to save in the App.

Cat profiles, saved results, care information, game progress, coins, and streak information are stored locally on your device unless this Policy specifically says otherwise. The App does not require an account for these features.

Intouch Apps, LLC does not access, view, review, or retain the contents of your cat photos or audio recordings. Audio may remain on your device only if you choose to save a recording or result in the App; that local copy is under your control.

3. CAMERA, MICROPHONE, AND PHOTOS

The App requests camera access only when you choose a feature that captures a cat photo, such as Mood Scan or Breed ID. It requests microphone access only when you choose to record audio for Cat Audio Translation. You can refuse or later revoke these permissions in your device settings, but the related feature may not work.

When you choose a photo from your device, the App processes only the photo you select for the requested feature. The App does not need access to your entire photo library to provide a single selected-image request.

4. HOW WE USE INFORMATION

We use the information described above to:

• Provide cat sound, mood, and breed analysis that you request.
• Save local history, cat profiles, care information, game progress, and any audio recording or result you explicitly choose to keep on your device.
• Operate, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the App.
• Respond to support, privacy, and deletion requests.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.

We do not use the audio recordings or cat photos you submit for advertising or to create a marketing profile about you.

5. SERVICE PROVIDERS AND INTERNATIONAL PROCESSING

When you actively request an AI analysis, the selected audio recording or photo, and any optional cat name included in the request, is sent from the App through a proxy to OpenAI. OpenAI processes the request and the response is relayed back to the App. Intouch Apps, LLC does not access, view, review, or retain the submitted audio recordings or photos. The proxy only relays the request and response and does not store the audio recordings or photos. OpenAI provides AI processing and may process the content under its applicable terms and privacy commitments.

The request may be processed in countries other than the country where you live. By using an AI analysis feature, you acknowledge this transfer for the purpose of providing that feature.

We do not sell your audio recordings or cat photos, and we do not share them with advertisers.

6. STORAGE AND RETENTION

Photos are not saved by the App after the requested analysis. Audio recordings and photos may be written temporarily to the App's local temporary storage while a request is prepared or processed. Intouch Apps, LLC does not access or retain either type of content on its own servers. If you choose to save an audio recording or result, that copy remains only on your device until you delete it or remove the App data.

We do not intentionally maintain a cloud gallery or cloud backup of your cat recordings or photos. Vercel does not store the request content. OpenAI states in its API documentation that API inputs and outputs are not used to train or improve its models unless the customer explicitly opts in. OpenAI may retain API data in abuse-monitoring logs for up to 30 days, unless a longer period is required by law. The Responses API may retain application state for 30 days by default. These retention periods are controlled by OpenAI and may change under its published API data controls and applicable law.

7. DELETION AND YOUR CHOICES

You choose whether to grant camera or microphone access and whether to start an AI request. If you do not start a request, the related audio or photo is not sent for that feature.

You can delete locally saved recordings, translation history, mood results, and cat profiles using the App's delete controls. You can also remove the App and its local data from your device.

To request deletion of information that may still be held by a service provider, contact us at the privacy contact above. We will handle the request in accordance with applicable law and the provider retention terms that apply to the request.

8. SECURITY

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. CHILDREN

The App is not intended to collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us at the address above so we can review and delete it where required by law.

10. THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND SERVICES

The App may link to Terms of Use, this Privacy Policy, Apple services, or third-party services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Review those policies before using the linked service.

11. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or information about the processing of your personal information. Contact us using the privacy contact above. We may need to verify your request before completing it.

12. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, our processing, or applicable law changes. We will publish the updated version at this URL and update the effective date. Your continued use of the App after the effective date means the updated Policy applies to future use.
