This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile application Book Store (the “Application”), provided by Bohdan Halushchak as a free service and offered on an “AS IS” basis. By using the Application, you consent to the processing of information as described here, now, and as amended.

When you download and use the Application, we may collect information about your device and your interactions with the Application, such as your IP address, the screens you visit, timestamps of visits, session duration, operating system version, device model, language and region, and diagnostic information that helps us improve reliability and performance. To enable core features, we may process account details you provide during authentication (for example, an email or display name via Firebase Authentication or Google Sign-In) and in-app state such as your purchased library, purchase history, coin balance, mini-game progress, and preferences. If you choose to upload content (such as an avatar), files may be stored in Firebase Storage. The Application does not collect precise location data.

We use this information to provide login and synchronization, restore purchases and your library, save game progress and coin balances, maintain stability and security, improve usability, and send important service notices or updates to terms. We do not use your data for third-party targeted advertising, we do not integrate third-party advertising SDKs, and we do not sell your personal data.

To operate the service, we rely on trusted providers, including Google/Firebase services (e.g., Authentication, Firestore, and Storage), which process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms and our instructions. Aggregated and anonymized information may be shared periodically to help us improve the Application and service quality. We may disclose user-provided or automatically collected information when required by law or legal process; when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others, to investigate fraud, or to respond to a lawful government request; and with trusted contractors acting on our behalf who have no independent right to use the information and are bound by this Policy.

You may stop all collection by uninstalling the Application using your device’s standard uninstall process or the relevant app marketplace. We retain user-provided data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter for backup, security, and legal compliance. If you would like us to delete user-provided data you submitted via the Application, please contact us at bogdan.halushchak@gmail.com, and we will respond within a reasonable time. Certain records (for example, purchase information required by law) may be kept longer where necessary.

Account and data deletion. If you created an account, you can request deletion of your account and associated personal data directly in the Application (Settings → Account → Delete Account). Deletion removes your account credentials and user-generated content from our systems; some records may be retained where we have a legal obligation or a legitimate security need. If you cannot access the in-app deletion flow, email bogdan.halushchak@gmail.com from the address linked to your account, and we will assist.

The Application is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. We encourage parents and guardians to supervise children’s internet use and to prevent the submission of personal information without permission. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact bogdan.halushchak@gmail.com so we can take appropriate action. Where applicable, you must be at least 16 years old to consent to the processing of personal information in your country (or have your parent/guardian consent on your behalf).

We take reasonable measures to safeguard your information, including secured transmission (TLS), access controls, and Firebase security rules. Nevertheless, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you by publishing the updated version on this page and revising the effective date above. Your continued use of the Application after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
