# Privacy Policy — Kadrix

Kadrix ("the app") is a 2D frame-by-frame animation app. This policy explains what

data the app collects, why, and what your choices are. The app is published by the

Kadrix team (contact: i.isroilov4516@gmail.com).

## Short summary

- You can draw, animate and export without creating an account.

- Your drawings are stored on your device. They leave your device only when you

choose to export a video, sync to the cloud, or use the AI feature.

- We do not sell your data, do not show ads, and do not use third-party analytics

or advertising SDKs.

- The app is not directed at children under 13, but it is safe for family use: it

contains no ads, no chat, and no user-to-user content sharing.

## What the app stores on your device

- **Projects**: your frames, characters, colours and audio clips, saved as files in

the app's private storage.

- **Settings**: the server address, your login name, and an access token if you

signed in or used a feature that needs the server.

- **Imported media**: images, videos and audio you add to a project are copied into

the app's private storage so the project keeps working later.

You can delete any project inside the app. Uninstalling the app removes all of this

data from your device.

## What is sent to our server

Our server (kadrix-app.duckdns.org) receives data only when you use one of these

features:

1. **Account (optional)**: if you register, we store your username, an optional

e-mail address, and a hashed password. If you use the app without registering,

the app creates an anonymous guest account that holds only a random identifier.

2. **Cloud save (optional)**: when you tap "Save to cloud" or "Sync", the project

document (frames, shapes, characters, audio references) is uploaded so you can

continue on another device. Only your account can read it. Deleting the project

in the app also deletes it from the server.

3. **Video export**: the frames of your animation are uploaded as images, together

with any audio clips, and our server renders them into an MP4 or GIF file that the

app downloads back. The rendered file stays in your account's export list until

you ask us to delete it.

4. **Video import**: a video you choose is uploaded, split into frames, and the frames

are sent back to the app. The uploaded video itself is deleted from the server

immediately after processing.

5. **AI features**: the text you type (for example "the left one runs and kicks the

right one") is sent to our server and then to our AI provider, OpenAI (or

Anthropic, depending on configuration), which returns a script or character poses.

Your drawings are never sent to the AI provider — only your text prompt and a

short description of the characters' positions. The provider processes the request

under its own privacy policy: https://openai.com/policies/privacy-policy and

We keep standard web-server logs (IP address, request time, request path) for

security and debugging. These logs are kept for up to 30 days.

## What we do NOT collect

- No advertising identifiers, no ad networks, no behavioural profiling.

- No analytics or crash-reporting SDKs that track individuals.

- No contacts, location, calendar, SMS or call data.

- No access to your photo library beyond the specific image, video or audio file you

pick yourself through the system picker.

## Permissions the app asks for

- **Photos / media / files**: only to let you pick a background image, a picture, a

video or an audio file to add to your animation.

- **Internet**: to reach our server for export, sync and AI features.

## Legal basis and your rights

If you are in a region with data-protection laws such as the GDPR, we process your

data on the basis of your consent (which you give by using an optional online

feature) and our legitimate interest in running a secure service.

You may:

- use the app entirely offline, with no data leaving your device;

- delete individual projects and exports from within the app;

- ask us to delete your account and all associated data by writing to

i.isroilov4516@gmail.com. We will action such a request within 30 days.

## Children's privacy

The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. It

requires no personal data to use, and registration is optional. If you believe a

child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

## Data security

Traffic between the app and our server uses HTTPS. Passwords are stored as salted

hashes. Access tokens are stored in the app's private storage on your device.

## Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this

page and, for significant changes, mention it in the app's release notes.
