GlucoLive helps you track your glucose. We take your privacy seriously — especially your health data.

Summary (the key points)

• Your health data (glucose and lab results) stays on your device and is never collected or used for marketing.

1. Data that stays on your device

Your glucose readings and the lab results you import are stored locally on your device (and in your private iCloud, if enabled). We have no access to this health data and it is never used for marketing.

2. Data sources (sensor)

To show your glucose, the app connects to your LibreLinkUp (Abbott) account or your Nightscout server, as you choose. Credentials and the session token are used only to fetch your readings.

3. Data we collect

• Usage analytics (anonymous): we use TelemetryDeck to understand how the app is used (screens and actions), with an anonymous identifier. It does not include your glucose values.

• Account and email (optional, with your consent): if you turn on "Get updates," we use your email (from your connection or from Sign in with Apple) to send GlucoLive tips and news. You may also use Sign in with Apple.

• Notifications: a device push identifier, to deliver alerts and, with your consent, news.

4. How we use it

To make the app work, improve the product (anonymous analytics), and — only with your consent — send news via push and/or email.

5. Who we share with

Only with providers operating the service on our behalf: Abbott/LibreLinkUp or Nightscout (data source), Apple (Sign in with Apple and notifications), TelemetryDeck (anonymous analytics), Cloudflare (notification delivery), and an email provider (sending news). They process data only on our instructions. There is no third-party advertising and no cross-app tracking.

6. Your consent and how to opt out

Receiving news is opt-in. You can turn it off anytime in Settings › Account › Get updates, or via the unsubscribe link in emails.

7. Your rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your account data anytime via the contact below.

8. Retention

We keep account data while you use the app or until you request deletion. Anonymous analytics is kept in aggregate.

9. Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) and the system's secure storage.

10. Children

The app is not intended for children under 13.

11. Changes

We may update this policy; significant changes will be announced in the app.
