Privacy Policy — CrystalDepth

1. Introduction

CrystalDepth ("the App") is a music discovery application. This policy explains what data is collected and how it is used.

2. Data We Collect

The App collects anonymous device identifiers (Advertising ID) solely for analytics purposes — to understand general usage patterns such as feature interaction and session frequency. This data is collected ephemerally and is never tied to a personal identity.

No name, email address, phone number, or account is required to use the App.

3. Music Data

The App streams 30-second audio previews via the public Deezer API. We do not store, record, or transmit your listening activity to any external server of our own. Your favorites and recently played tracks are stored locally on your device only.

4. Third-Party Services

The App uses the Deezer public API to retrieve music catalog data. Please refer to Deezer's own privacy policy for information on how they handle API requests.

Analytics are handled through standard Android platform tooling (Google Play Services). Advertising ID usage is limited to anonymous, aggregated analytics.

5. Data Retention

Any analytical data collected is automatically deleted within 90 days. No user accounts exist. Users may clear all locally stored app data at any time via Android Settings → Apps → CrystalDepth → Clear Data.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
